Bad Customer Service!
By , 10/02/06
I made reservations to stay here in September. I had to change my plans, so I canceled my reservations the day before I was to check in. A few days later a $70 charge by Travelodge appeared on my credit card. I called and spoke with the hotel staff, but they said they had no record of my cancellation. The manager refused to refund the money and he was very rude about it!

Noisy and dirty... For the money ANYWHERE is better. after a day of travel I had hoped for some quiet prior to going on the next day.

I know that budget motel won't be fancy, but I at the very least expect it to be clean. The outside of the building was very shabby, with the paint peeling and carpeting coming up on the way to the room. I could live with that too, but there were were cobwebs in the corners of our room and it appeared that the carpet hadn't been vaccumed before we arrived.

good value

Quiet, clean room. Rooms are well used, but clean and location is quiet. When all you need is a bed and shower, great place to stay.

Darn good value for the money
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/19/04
So long as you're on a budget and love a good Denny's meal, Travelodge is the place for you. The Denny's restaurant was about 20 yards from our door. The rooms were basic, but had nice furniture and a refigerator and coffemaker in the room, as well as an ironig board and iron. The location was also very convenient, if slightly aesthetically lacking because of the giant, out of business gas station directly in front of the motel. Overall, it was a good value for the price.

So bad it was funny!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/23/04
We had trouble with the telephone, the AC, the plumbing, and the TV. It was like a Marx Brothers movie. The people working there tried their best but they were very young and untrained. In the morning there was a line of people trying to get things fixed in their rooms or have their bills adjusted.
