If you want sleep....DONT go here!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/9/10
We wanted a quiet night out so we decided to go to the Ramada Inn in Lewiston,Maine. We had to call the front desk three times for them to do something about the noise in the adjoining room, and drunks in the hall. Finally at 3:30 am we were able to get some sleep. I was assured that I would be taken care of at check out, yeah...... all I got was, " Sorry you had a bad night, would you like to keep the room on your card?" Are you kidding me!!!!! NEVER AGAIN.

Not Pet Friendly
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/20/06
I specifically booked this hotel because I was under the impression they were pet friendly. Obviously the search site I used was not accurate (not Ramada's fault). However, when they realized we had our small 8lb dog with us, the manner in which they handled advising us that they did not accept pets (we had already stayed one out of our three night stay) was not very pleasant. They handled it very badly. I explained that I wasn't trying to 'hide' the fact we had our dog with us, we truly believed we were staying at a pet friendly hotel. I was very disapointed in the manner it was handled and we had to find a another hotel on a holiday weekend....it was a nightmare. I will never stay at another Ramada again. The manager did not even speak with us personally regarding the misunderstanding. A clerk at the front desk just threatend to charge an additional few hundred dollars to my credit card if we stayed with the dog.

Dont Go here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/2/06
we had company for the night so went to the ramada inn in lewiston an got 2 adjoining rooms.when we first went to enter our rooms there were about 7 drunks in the hall against our door who didnt leave for hours and were very noisy, our room the toilet didnt flush and ran all night.. when i called the desk they said they could switch room for us.. but where we wanted adjoining rooms we asked for maintenance .. they said they had no one there to do this, it was a sat night..she was kinda rude saying she was all alone and had no one there that could help me.. we decided to go to the hot tub and after getting in we found it was nasty dirty,, so we figured it would be clean by morning, we went to the sauna and it wasnt on and we couldnt get it to work.. we slept ok after the crowd cleared from the halls .. in the morning i wanted to go into the hottub it was down for service.. i am not sure if the breakfast came included but we went to the buffet and while in line getting dishes most were filthy with sauce on them and stuff stuck to them we had to go through several plates to get clean ones.. so did the people in line behind us.. the coffee cups were filthy and the food was horrible to the point none of us ate and my brother in law walked out of the diner he was so disgusted,, when i asked the guy bringing out the food what was with all the dirty dishes he said it was due to an "inept dishwasher" when my husband told the cashier about the meal and we didnt eat anything on the plates except the toast we had actualy cooked and the coffee(after getting a clean cup off another table) she took off half the bill but still paying $12 for coffee and toast is crazy.. my brother in law left maine with a real bad additude about ever taking the long trip here again.

Best Place in Town!
Ramada is an awesome place to stay. The facility is completely smoke free, so no nasty after smoke smell in ANY room. Their renovations are beautiful, and their service is impeccable (See Buddy at the Front Desk!). Dudleys Restaurant in the hotel offers a great affordable lunch buffet every day. Also, they have the largest conference rooms available in the twin cities. They also offer Nick Knowlton for entertainment weekly, and he's a blast. Lastly, the location makes it by far the most convenient hotel to get to. We love it!
