So relieved!! Great experience!
By hazl eyz, 7/6/10
My family and I enjoyed our stay. The only negative things I can think of are that when we arrived we couldn't get the door to open, and that we could only find one washer and dryer which were $1.50 each to use. The night staff did send security to try to help us open our door and when he couldn't she quickly placed us in another room. The room we were in was very quiet, and during our 4 day stay, we never heard any of the other occupants (besides them having fun in the pool). I felt the price was very reasonable considering it was a holiday weekend, the location, how large this hotel is, and that you have a small refridgerator and microwave in your room. Miss Debbie (at the front desk) was always friendly and helpful and always had a smile on her face. This hotel is situated right next to restaurants and downtown so we were able to get in a lot of sight-seeing. I will definitely stay at this hotel again! Thank you very much for a great experience Miss Debbie!

Disappointed.Not like advertised
By AquarianSoulstar, 10/5/08
I recently stayed at this particular hotel. I was extremely disappointed. Immediately upon walking into the hotel room, I was greeted by the stinch of mold and mildew. As I looked around, mold and mildew were on the corner ceilings and in the shower. I actually had to clean the room myself on the first night. Unfortunately, there were no other hotel with vacancies during that time. There was also a roach infestation which made it that much more uncomfortable. The ONLY good thing that I have to say about my stay there was the customer service. The young ladies and men working the customer service desk were helpful and attempted to make the stay as comfortable as possible. They even went into their personal stashes my first night there to provide me with cleaning supplies (not that I should have been cleaning in the first place).

It could have been better
By mark, 7/28/08
The room was quiet and clean. The hotel is old but it is in pretty good shape and the location is close in. The free internet worked great. I booked a room with two beds. Each bed came with three extremely small and thin pillows. I had to roll up a blanket in order to lift my head high enough to sleep. The A/C was on high all night it would not cool the room which was uncomfortable.. . Parking was a problem, My room was in the front of the hotel I had to park at least 200 feet away in the rear of the property. There were four small tables for the free breakfast. The lack of space and the poor selection of food made me pass.

My last visit
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/17/08
Well, like always when I'm in Baton Rouge for a short stay. I usual visit the La Quinta Inn. Last Feb 07, I visited my kids and we breifly stayed there. The room wasn't that clean, the staff looked under paided and un groomed. While I slept over night, some thief broke into my vehicle and stole everythingof value. including all my identifcation cards. The parking lot did not have good lightens. It looked like a deserted motel from tv. After I reported it to the Inn, and police, I was told there are signs posted that say park at your own risk.. Then I thought why would I have to park at my own risk. This is right in front of my paid room. Well when I found out that they weren't going to do anything positive for me, I checked out never to return again. Good luck and beware. Dont park on the backside of the Inn you'll be sorry.

Rooms were dirty
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/6/07
The room itself was not clean. There was mold on the shower curtain, the towels were not clean, and it was somewhat loud. I do not recommend this hotel unless you're in a pinch.

Maybe...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/27/06
The room had some groceries left from the previous visitors. The room didn't really smell clean and the lamps periodically worked. Not really worth the $90 a night. I'd go back, maybe.

We'll stay there again.
By Elizabeth, 7/26/05
Very friendly, and helpful. I use Pure and Natural at home so I was happy to find it at La Quinta. The room was exceptionally clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was also very good.
