Ramada Florence, Florence

Stayed one night when we were on our way home. This was the only place that we could find that had a room. We were told that we got the last room that was available. I wish that I had been told that it was a handicap room. My husband had to push the door to the room open. The mirror was to short for me to see in it. The shower was creepy and there was something very disgusting behind the toilet on the wall. I should have realized that it was not a good place to stay when the young women checking us in was in total flake. We will not stay here again and will not recommended it. Ramada Inn should be embarrassed to have their name on this hotel. The pictures on this website do not look like the room we stayed in.

The A/C in the halls does not run (perhaps because of low occupancy rate). Pet and smoke odors abound; my 2 rooms smelled of mold; in 1 room 2 lamps did not work; litter in hallways; toilet ran; I am shocked Ramada would allow this.

This hotel was the nasiest thing I have ever stayed in. The restraunt was closed due to electrical problems along with the bar. The toilet actually moved back and forth when you sat down on it. No hot water. It stinked and it was hot as hell. Who ever put the pictures on the website should be sued for false adverstising. The pool has weeds growing over the fence onto the concrete. I would have to be more than desperate to stay there again and I mean desperate. I always thought Ramada was a good hotel but boy was I wrong.

It was dirty! The first room we got had no working air conditioning. They changed our room. The air conditioning worked, but there was mold growing on the vents. You could smell it in the room. The toilet ran almost constantly. It took almost an hour to refill the tank. The t.v. and radio were both unplugged. When we searched for an outlet to plug them back in, we saw all the dirt and dust behind the furniture. The chairs were nasty. It looked like mold growing on them. The landscaping hadn't been touched all year. Lots of weeds and the grass was over-grown. The desk clerk checking us in was wearing a Nike t-shirt. The guy checking us out was not any more professional looking. When I told the clerk about the problems with the room, he said, "Oh, ok." Then he handed me the print out and I got the heck out of there. I was kinda of cheap. I guess that should have tipped me off. I guess you get what you pay for. I will never stay here again.

I am always skeptical when I book my hotels online. I know they show pictures, but are they really of that hotel?? In this case, yes they were!! My family and I were in town visiting some family and friends and were very satisfied with the hotel. Front desk-friendly; rooms-clean; safety-no concerns or worries!! I will be going back to visit again and I will be booking my room here!! Very nice for the price!!

Lots of restaurants nearby, walking distance, the hotel staff are very nice and helpful, The hotel Manager Sara is awesome and very nice. Overall, Great place to stay at.

Ramada is very clean and comfortable beds. All new rooms. Staff was very helpful.

I've stayed there for a week and can safely say it is O.K. The rate is really good and it included breakfast although don't expect much (bagels, donuts, juice and coffee). It is good though. Staff are not super but they're not mean either. I guess they're just not very well experienced about the place as I had some questions about the area like a public phone and transportation but they couldn't help. Well, at least the guy at the reception bothered to look in the yellow pages in an attempt to help. The room is not very clean. The beds, sheets and pillows are old but they're not bad. My major turn-off was the smell in the room AND the hotel. It is fall season so it gets pretty chilli at night so whenever I came back there was a NASTY smell in the hotel's lobby and corridors. I think it was coming from the heater and carpets so they should definitely do something about that.
