Days Inn Owensboro, Owensboro

Just got back from there after attending the BPA World Series. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was overall very accomodating. One staff member was a little bit of a grouch (many kids running around), but overall pretty good. We will stay there again if going back. Need to improve the breakfast selection. Really, when we drove up, I thought it was a newer establishment. The remodeling must have gone well.

my stay at days inn was amazing i couldnt ask for more i live in owensboro me and some friends just got all together didnt expect it to be so nice but man was wrong for such a cheap price it was great thanks days inn and all the staff of course id go back again it great and everything was clean thanks to the new owners.

Way better than I expected after reading the reviews on this site. All the rooms have been gutted and re-built. All new furnishings etc. Great staff and extra clean.

The hotel had currently been purchased by a new owner the dates we stayed. Yes renovations need to be made, and were beginning. The pool area was very nice and extremely clean. Our grandsons were in baseball tournaments & we found the staff to be very helpful and accommadating to our needs. Would love to go back.

After reading these, I wouldn't send my ex there! Well maybe I would send her there afterall! What a great way to get even with her.

This place was disgusting. Management needs to fire themselves and employees and shut this flea ridden POS motel down. The health dept of this city needs to look at this building.

We had a horrible experience at this hotel. We booked 5 non-smoking rooms, but only one of the rooms was actually non-smoking. Rooms were not very clean and in a poor state of repair (wall paper peeling off, stains in the carpets and bedspreads, lightbulbs out, TVs not working). The management was NOT helpful. There were plenty of rooms marked non-smoking which were unoccupied that night, but the desk clerk said that none of them were clean. I said that we had made our reservations in plenty of time for them to be ready for us, but she said that there was only one maid -- THAT SHOULDN'T BE MY PROBLEM! The reservation was made thru Expedia, so our credit card had already been charged. The manager offered a discount on our next stay at the hotel, but we will NEVER be back to the Owensboro Days Inn.

I reserved five rooms for guests at our daughter's wedding in Owensboro. I was so embarrassed. The rooms were dirty, had holes in the walls, one room only had a black and white tv, one room had no remote for the tv, bed sheets were dirty, I could go on and on. Days Inn should be embarrassed also. I emailed the home office about the problems, have not heard back from them.

I reserved 2 rooms. Both room had a over powering smell, the bed where dirty and were not changed at all while we were there. The rug were crusty dirty, sink filthy as well as the tub, the tub had a ring around it and the toilet wasn't even flushed. The sink and tub had no stoppers. As well as the turn on knobs hard to work. The walls had food and drink all over them. No soap or coffee was left in the room the next day.

The hotel was a mess. There were holes in the ceiling. Another couple's room was dirty and the beds were not made so they had to request another room. We were double billed out of our checking account and had to make several calls to get this corrected. We will not be back.
