Super 8 Lexington Downtown, Lexington

The place was a little run down to be part of a major hotel chain. It was reasonably clean in the room. Chemical smell, but not too strong. Bed was very comfortable and pretty clean. No bugs. Walkway and stairs filthy and poorly lit. Grounds kept pretty well. Guy at front desk couldn't speak much English, and didn't know how to work the computer. Tried to charge me for room that had been prepaid through Yahoo. Overall, not bad, especially for price ($60), but I can't see returning considering the competition in Lexington.

Dirty room and the front desk wasn't very friendly. Vending machines were not located close by and not really located in the best of neighborhoods. Will avoid this one in the future.

I have never stayed in a Super 8 that was this filthy. Dried blood stains on the beds, something white all over the curtains. An old dirty wash cloth in the bathroom. Sheets dirty. Place was absolutely filty. Said they saved these rooms for the construction workers, but we made reservations 2 months in advance! I will never pay to stay there again!
