Belvedere Motel, Elkhart

The staff was friendly and accommodating. I stayed about 10 days, was not a lot of guests, quiet, clean. The only drawback was the hot tub broken, and the birthday parties that had noisy children running amuck all weekend, vomiting in the kiddie pool and defecating on the floor in the pool area, but that is not the fault of the hotel. Plan to stay again in a few weeks, providing the hot tub is up and running.

Hottub down for 6 months, wallpaper on whole wall gone, and they are not remodeling, 1 pool closed and the indoor pool was so warm that the water was murky, Dirty rooms, hair on the bathroom floor, dirty in all corners and behind furniture, pillowcase had mystery stains on it. My dog was with us and she stayed busy trying to get stuff behind the furniture. Oh yeah, the worst part, cockroach in drawer, alive and running. The staff was friendly but avoiding all issues, and there was a nice size fridge in the room, but it wasn't clean inside. Would not stay here again.

This was a great location off the interstate, however the pool outdoors was not open and our room in the back was very dirty and old. Too much mold in the bathroom

I stayed at the Ramada Elkhart recently for a weekend to host a party. The hotel is right off the interstate, easy to find. The lobby looked nice and clean. This was great because my party attenders were comfortable while entering. The party room was only 300 dollars for about 100 people and is spacious. I was hesitant to stay, since the last review was unhappy with the service, but when i went, the employees were are all so kind and helpful. One of the frontdesk men noticed we had a lot of bags, and helped carry them to our room. There is a heated indoor pool, cute little gym next to the pool, and a cute picnic area right outside the hotel. There isnt much to do in Indiana, but it isnt too far from Chicago, and only 20 miles from Notredame university. We visited both sites. Elkhart has a nice small town feel with an Amish town right next to it. It was really cute and we saw the Amish people riding their horse drawn vehicles. I would stay there again because i was treated well, it wasnt dirty, and not too pricey. Plus, the kids really liked the pool.

I WAS IN THE LOBBY AT 11 30 AT NIGHT, A WOMEN WAS WORKING BEHIND THE COUNTER AND SHE HAD SERIOUS DENTAL ISSUES THAT MAD EMY STOMACHE TURN, SMEELD OF BODY ODER AND ROTTEN TEETH, TALKING WITH A MOUTH OF A SAILOR... SAYING SHE WAS GOING TO ROB THE DRAWER AND BLAME IT ON ANOTHER EMPLOYEE. I PAID 130.00 A NIGHT TO SEE WHITE TRASH RUNNING THE COUNTER.. HANDLING MY CREDIT CARD INFO AND HAVING ACCESS TO MY ROOM IF I GO OUT FOR A MEAL. I WONT GO BACK!
