Quality Inn Huntingburg, Huntingburg

Like the location, nice pool and hot tub. Disliked the flies, had 5 or 6 of them in the room when we checked in.

They said the room that we had was smoke free..... but when we walked into the room it smelled bad... we had to buy some airfreshner to mask the smell... bad beds....DON'T waste your $$$$$$$$$$$$$

Was not happy from the time I pulled into the parking lot. The web site is very deciteful. You think you are going to get a nice hotel and when you pull up you find out different. We checked in and it was down hill from there. We had to drag our luggage up stairs to our non smoking rooms only to smell smoke the minute we walked into the room. We walked across the floor and the whole room shook with each step. Even when our friends four year old daughter walked acrossed the room the TV rattled. We didn't take long to decide not to stay. Which wasn't even five minutes from the time we checked in. We went back to the front desk and the Manager had the nerve to ask us if we used anything in the room. That was a big NO. Plus there was a man standing right outside the non smoking rooms smoking. If going to Holiday World don't stay here. Drive a little further into Jasper and stay at the Holiday Inn express. It may cot a little more but it is well worth the extra money.

What a huge dissapointment!!! This hotel was not even close to being worth the $133 paid for a room with 2 double beds. There were people partying and being loud outside our door all night. This hotel needs serious updates. The carpeting was dirty and stained, the cheep furniture was cracked and beat-up looking and the bedding was very old and nasty looking. We attempted to eat breakfast, but there was nothing even close to apetizing. The next evening we stayed at the Hampton Inn for the SAME PRICE. This hotel offered a jacuzi tub, a small living room with a tv in addition to the bedroom area with another tv. The bed linens were luxury!!! The service was unbeatable and the breakfast was amazing with biscuits and gravy. You can do much better on $130 a night. This quality inn was a dump and we had to fight flies in the room during our stay.
