Ok, but not great
I spent 5 nights here attending a recent conference. I was on the 17th floor.
Summary: Overpriced, not up to par for a business hotel, cleaning was inconsitant, staff was very friendly and curteous.
This hotel is barely 3 stars for a business traveler hotel. They charge daily internet fees, which is absurd in today's environment.
The hotel is obviously older and was remodeled probably about 5 years ago. Many details are left undone and this gives a less polished feel to the rooms. Lighting in the bathroom is poor. Still have a large, clunky, buzzing tube TVs.
Cleaning was very inconsistant. Overall the room looked presentable. Many times they would not replace things (examples include coffee packs, wash cloths, and glasses). It was very uneven.
The staff was friendly and curteous. Seemed like the operation ran well.
I have stayed in many hotels in many countries. I am always disappointed by the declining standards of US hotels and travel services. Every US hotel manager should take a trip to Asia, on an Asian airline, and get reminded about service and details.
