Ramada Inn Pocatello, Pocatello

I stayed for 3 days on business trip. It was nice. I used their tmeeting room for 10 people. I found it nice with wifi, good breakfast and friendly staff. Bar inside hotel help to socialize and networking within hotel. It was good return of cost I spent.

This was a secret hotel deal. I have had other secret deal hotels that were very nice. This is a dirty run-down motel. There were weird stains all over this room. There are 2 ball rooms in this motel which hosts wedding receptions and a disco; so there are strange and questionable people walking the halls all night. The beds were horrible and the bathroom was dirty. I was disgusted with this place. It was easy to find and there were stores and restaurants close by.

This by far was the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. The rooms smelled so bad I had to cover my nose and mouth with a bandana any time I was in the room. There was pieces of dog food on the floor left by a guest that stayed there before us, so it was never vaccumed. There was brown stuff in the sink, and a big soap scum ring in the tub,haven't they ever heard of bleach. The paint on the bathroom door was peeling from the bottom, like it hadn't been painted in years. Even though they were non smoking rooms they smelled of stell cigerett smoke, because people stand outside the room and smoke and the airconditioner pull the smoke into the rooms. We had a hole in the floor by the wall so we placed a book over the hole hoping that nothing could get in. I felt like bugs were crawling all over me during the night , I was to chicken to turn on the lights to see if there was anything really there.This hotel wasn't even worth what we paid for it. While we were there I went looking and found cleaner rooms for the same amount or lessat other hotels.When they made the room up the next day they didn't even take all the dirty towels out of the room, and they just threw the sheet and blanket up over the bed, they didn't even try to make it. Shame on those that rate it as high as they have. I didn't try the Breakfast I was scared to. I can truly say we will not be going back to this hotel even if it means we sleep in our car for the night.

Its a tired old hotel thats showing its age. My a/c stopped working. Luke warm water in morning. Shower rack is falling off wall. Towel rack is falling off wall too. But at 54.00 bucks a night for the weekend in the summer, I guess you cant expect much. Also no answer at front desk phone,had to walk down to front counter for answers to questions. But hey, the bar has kararoke on fri and sat nite..........awesome.....
