A good value for the money

My family and I found ourselves planning a somehwat unexpected Christmas trip to Sandpoint and even w/ short notice I was able to secure a nice double room for 98/day. True, the rooms are somewhat dated and the "Continental Breakfast" food in the morning extremely lacking, but it was better than nothing to choose from (although it would have been nice if the on-site restaurant which was adorable and a great value for the money would have been open as a choice for breakfast) and the rooms were very clean. I couldn't help noticing, though, the pervasive odor of chlorine throughout the place. I know motels have to keep the public pools/hot tubs well chlorinated, but it was VERY, almost TOO at times, overpowering. There was so much chlorine in the pool that my children's skin broke out for days after using it.
The service at the front desk was great; while we weren't told the time of breakfast upon checking in and missed it the first day (5-9-be up early) Shannon at the front desk was happy to give us whatever we wanted out of the pantry to take to our rooms. We made it on time each day thereafter.
