Aqua Aloha Surf Waikiki, Honolulu

This hotel was great! nice location, loved the lobby, nice pool, free continental breakfast, and the staff was very helpful, very friendly and accommodating. We especially thank Kolei, Keoni and Nolan for everything they did, they were very helpful. We also enjoyed the weekly manager's party, Tuesday 5-6pm, free drinks, music and more, had a blast.

I have stayed there in march 2003, oct 2004 and july 2007. I'm coming back in oct 2009. Its friendly, convient and a good value for the money. My grandson liked it there in 2003 so much that he wanted stay there when we all went in 2007.

This was our first time to Hawaii. We enjoyed your stay at the Aqua Aloha Surf and Spa. It was a clean hotel with rooms on the small side, but adequate. The personel at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. One thing we didn't like was the birds flying around the lobby and the room with the continental breakfast. Of course the tourists feed them so that made it worse. It is well within walking distance of the beach and the international market, just to name a few attractions. The beds were very nice. Very clean and fresh hotel. realy nothing fancy. more like a nice motel. small pool and erea mostly used by old ladies. 3 piece fitness center. free massages and cocktails on tuesday night. mostly nice and super accomodating staff. again, dont expect a 5 star resort. awesome bang for buck. just 2 blocks away from the beach. plently of shops, bars, coffee shops and restaurants right there. You dont realy need a car as walking to most places within waikiki is more convinient and parking is a hassle and expensive ($20 per day in hotel). the buses to other beaches and attractions are also pretty good and just $2. (double time then by car though). getting to hotel from airport is also very easy and just $9 with a shuttle called roberts hawaii and usualy have staff right outside the airport directing you to the shuttle. You probably will spend most of your time away from the hotel, by day your touring or at the beach and by night your eating out and/or partying. right on the beach there are some beautyfull hotels where you can sit at the outdoor bar and restaurunt (moana surfrider hotel my favorite) and drink your heart out with delcious and nicely and tropicaly decorated cocktails while enjoying the great weather and pretty beach and people who frolic and swim at them. get a $7 pair of goggles and snorkles at the abc store (47 of them in waikiki) and see some realy pretty fish right on waikiki beach. would not recommend aqua aloha surf and spa if your on honeymoon and special anniversary. perfect for dudes and chillers

the hotel was great. the room was great. the food was great. the pool was great. the service was great. i would stay here again.

I've just returned home from a 9 night stay at Aqua Aloha. The location is terrific and very close to everything. That being said, it is a very noisy hotel, inside and out. I think there were two nights that we actually slept the whole night without being awakened by either trucks or partiers. The closed windows do nothing to keep out the noise! The staff was helpful and we did get fresh towels and our bed made daily. I don't think we would stay here again, though.

The hotel was close to the beach, shopping, restaurants. The street noise on the weekends was very loud. The pool area is small but nice, could use more lounge chairs. The bed was comfortable but the room was small. The staff was very friendly.

this is a very good hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is a hotel near the beach. there is a pool!!! they serve a great breakfst in the morning!!!! i really didnt like the rooms!!

I travel often and stay in hotels everywhere I go. This hotel has great service!! They changed my room to a higher floor so I wouldn't be bothered by noise from the street. The room is very clean and nice! Has a coffee pot, microwave and a small fridge...which is great when you live in a hotel for weeks on end. The rates are great, it is walking distance from so many great things to do. I will make sure I stay here each time I have business here in Hawaii. The rooms are small, but they are really nice and comfortable.

My husband and I really had a wonderful stay at the Aqua Aloha Surf hotel. There were some problems with our hotel bookings and we were afraid that we would be relocated to another hotel. Jennifer and Jaedeen(reservationist) were so kind and found a room for us! They upgraded us to a suite and the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We will definitely recommend this hotel!
