Poor customer service and management issues
My special son and I stayed in this hotel off and on for nearly 3 months. After the 2nd month here, my son due to his disorder had a slight outburst against me where as I had the police called who transported me and him to the Grady Hospital where he was stabilized. The next morning we returned to the hotel where I apologized for his actions. The hotel management was very understanding, told me not to worry and that they fully understood. We checked out in about 5 days, returned again and stayed one more week and then checked out. This time that we checked out the management explained that we did not have to keep checking out just to get the specials but that we could stay and call her early in the morning on the day that the rent was due and that something could be worked out. We left this time as we were without sufficient funds to stay. We were welcomed back. In a few days we called at 11:00 P.M. to see if there were any rooms and was told that there were 3. I told the desk clerk that we would be there at about 1:00 A.M.
When we got there and to the desk, the clerk waited on another person who was in front of house and then she began to take care of me, but got on the phone instead, then got off of the phone and said that there the rooms were still available, then quickly said that there were not any rooms available., because they were not clean. She also stated that she knew it was me when I called at 11:00 P.M. inquiring about a room. She told me to call around 2 or 3:P.M the next day for a room. We explained that we could not get away due to the time of being after 1:00 A.M. she began to instruct us to another motel near by(Which was too high for us)
The next day I called the hotel and asked for the manager and told about the situation and she said she knew nothing about why they would not rent to us. I asked her if we were able to return and she said "No" that she gotten some kind of note, but would not give us a reason. She was "Cool" and wanted to hurry and get off of the telephone. I call this poor customer service and uncaring, especially lying and saying that rooms were not available when they were. Welcoming us back and then when we got back, not letting us get a room and making up a reason for not doing so. The making up a reason reason really threw me off, why make up something? Why welcome us back an we come back, especially when you knew we were coming back at a wee hour of the morning and then refused us. This is unfair and uncaring an without heart. THERE IS A BIG MISTAKE HERE THE RATINGS THAT GO WITH THIS REVIEW SHOULD NOT BE SEEN AS GOOD, BUT TERRIBLE!
