I gotta say this hotel really was great! P.S. if you use SweetHotelDeals. Net for booking this hotel they usually have some pretty good hotel deals at this time of the year!

Clean, Friendly, Affordable

DoubleTree Buckehead was a great location for my stay during the Peachtree Road Race a couple years back. Running again this year, and I'm going to be calling this place home again for a couple of days! Perfect location...wonderfully clean rooms, on a quiet corner of an otherwise busy road and part of town.

I STAYED THEIR AND A GUEST WAS STALKING MY DAUGHTERS AND ME AND TRYING TO GET US IN HIS ROOM AND CONTINUED TO FOLLOW ME AROUND..THIER ANSWER WAS GIVE ME A LATE CHECK OUT ,AFTER MY NERVES BEING SO BAD THAT I COULDN'T SLEEP OR EAT.....THEN theirVALET LEFT THE LIGHTS OF MY CAR ON AND DRAINED THE BATTERY (LEFT THEM ON FOR 2 DAYS)CLAIMED IT WASN'T THEIR FAULT EVEN THOUGH I HADN'T DROVE MY CAR FOR THE 2 DAYS I WAS THEIR...THIER FRONT DESK PERSON (3-11) IS A JERK !!!!!!!!!! AND THEIR MANAGER (3-_11) HAD THE NERVE TO TREAT ME LIKE GARBAGE!!SO UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE GARBAGE WHEN THEY DO SOMETHING WRONG ,,DON'T STAY HERE OR YOU'LL HAVE DOUBLE PROBLEMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful!

This was our first stay at a Doubletree. We loved it. The location is excellent for walking, shopping and within reasonable driving distance to places to eat. The valet parking was a bit "pricy". Overall, a good stay and planning to stay at the Doubletree in Virginia Beach!

Nice Hotel, but Noisy

The rooms were very nice and clean. The location is great. The only downside is that the self parking is 20 bucks and valet is 25 bucks. This seems a little pricey when right accross the street, the Marriot only charges 15 bucks for valet. Our room was very noisy the first night...we heard everything....people walking by talking lightly, elevator dinging, doors closing. However, the second night we turned the fan on in our room and did not hear a thing outside of our room! Overall for the price it was a great hotel. We walked to dinner both nights, which is very nice if you are going to have a few drinks.

WONDERFUL

I STAYED IN THE DOUBLETREE IN BUCKHEAD FOR TWO WEEKS WHILE ON A BUSINESS ASSIGNMENT. THE SERVICE WAS GREAT. THE WORKERS WERE ALL VERY FRIENDLY AND ATTENTIVE. THE FOOD WAS GOOD AND THE BARTENDER AND HOTEL CLERKS WERE ALL FRIENDLY AND THE WARM COOKIES THAT WERE GIVEN DAILY WERE DELICIOUS.

Called for price quotes..

I was calling for price quotes and the lady that I was talking to was VERY rude. And transfered me, WHILE I was talking to her, to another guy. Ended up not making reservations!

Moderate hotel with many conveniences..

The location of this hotel IS ideal...it is within close proximity to shopping and the MARTA station. Shuttle service is phenomenal...you can give them a call from the train and they will pick you up! Free use of nearby fitness center is a great benefit. The outside appearance of the hotel pales in comparison to it's neighbors. It is not easily found, especially given the construction in the area. Surprised to have to pay for wireless internet, as well as local calls (dial-up). Room service was OK..they advertise homemade ice cream, when it is really Haagan-Daaz. Overall, it is a very good hotel, especially for sightseeing and shopping. I was there for a conference, and the lack of free internet and lack of continental breakfast complicated my business experience.

The hotel room was very clean, but more importantly the service from the staff was awesome. This is me and my husband second time staying at this hotel and we will continue staying at this Doubletree.
