Stay somewhere else!!!

Problems checking in that required the clerk to ring it up 3 times before getting it right. I paid cash because of the fear of multiple charges.
As I drove around the building I noticed a large sign on the side of the building that stated "Rooms starting at $39.95" I was told that the best rate available for a single room was $69.95.
On this day, the weather outside had a heat index of 112 according to the weather channel. The A/C in the room was not on. Extremely hot room that required a large amount of time to cool down. The walls were covered with wall paper that had large torn off pieces that were missing. The floor looked as if someone had changed the oil in their motorcycle between the bed and bathroom area. The bathroom door had been kicked open at some point in the past and they had glued and screwed the door back together and painted over it. Parts of the tile in the bathroom had been replaced with tile that didn't match in color. Soap holders attached to the wall had broken pieces missing. The area to hang clothes up had a substance that looked like chocolate syrup all over the wall. The refrigerator had what looked like melted ice cream piled up on the inside of it. It was nasty! The remote control for the TV did not have a battery cover and everytime you picked it up the batteries fell out. The chain on the door had been torn off and screwed back on so many times that it looked like a woodpecker had been working on the inside of the door. The next morning as I was getting dressed a cockroach ran across my bed that I had just got out of. There was other issues. However, this is a review, not a college report to recieve my masters degree.
Why did I not leave? I was required to be there because my company had booked a meeting there and they were refunding my expenses. Otherwise, I would have requested a refund.
Hate to see what a $39.95 room would be!!!!!
