Not bad for the price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/1/11
I have to say this is not the place for a family vacation destination, but for short term travel, this is excellent. I like staying on the back side of the property since the hotel is adjacent to the interstate so you don't hear the traffic. Rooms are older, but I didn't buy the place. It is a temporary lodging solution. People should get past the bashing of this place.

NASTY
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/12/11
This hotel is a dump!!! Due to severe allergies I asked for non-smoking, non-animal use room and what did I get... a room that reaped with mold. Couldn't sleep... thought I would have to sleep in my car until I wet a hand towel I (thankfully) had brought from home to sleep over my face. That was the only way I could breathe. The sheets appeared they weren't changed but the bed was made. Again, thankfully I had brought my own sheets and pillow.. not to mention my own lysol spray (which did not help with the smell and mold) and lysol wipes. I had stayed here last year and it was just as bad. Another guest told me they checked into their room and the beds weren't even made. This was with a yearly outing and I can say I will not stay here again. Oh, the hotel is full with guest that are in training at the Ga. State Patrol training center (across the highway). Guess that's because of the low rates.

nice place for the money
By jinx, 10/4/10
stayed here for almost a week nice place clean not over priced. Awesome pool with salt water not chlorine. Could use laundry at hotel but all in all it was nice lots of channels on the tv even had three Hbos which is rear for a motel. Breakfast could have used a little more choices but not to bad for free. will stay again

Spent a night while travling The room smelled so bad I had to use air freshner and it did no good a whole can. the clerk did'nt care about the oder. It was late and I was tired or I would of left. The breakfast was ceral and cold hard boiled eggs. very little to choose from. Don't waste your money.

Happy with my stay.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/18/08
I stayed at the Best Western Hilltop for a week and was pleasantly surprised. The reviews on this motel weren't that great, but I was happy with my stay. The clerk who made my reservation(Margaret)was professional and cheerful. She had every detail correct when I checked in. The room was clean and comfortable and the heat had been left on so my room was nice and warm from the beginning. The cleaning staff did a good job - I was traveling with a dog and they kept the room clean. The second day of my stay, the person who cleaned the room folded my dog's blanket and placed his toys on top, a very nice gesture that made us feel welcome. I will recommend this motel to others and stay there again next year when I am in Forsyth.

Stay at GPSTC and save your money!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/31/05
I made a reservation online and got charged $10.00 more a night than a friend who did not have a reservation at all. The beds are hard as a rock and the TV only picked up about 4 channels clear. You are better staying at the academy. All you pay for here is a high priced toilet and shower. If you do decide to stay, don't make a reservation. For some stupid reason you will pay more.
