STAY AWAY!
By Cynthia, 5/31/10
This has to be one of the dirtiest hotels I have ever seen. The room was dirty and falling apart. Absolutely disgusting. It's old and smells terrible. I couldn't wait to leave. Thank God I only stayed one night. I was out of there by 7 am. I wouldn't even eat the complimentary breakfast that they offer. I would NEVER go back. It is also overpriced for the condition of the hotel. Don't waste your money.

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE
By Probation Man, 10/29/07
Everything about it was Old and decaying. The Staff were very unfriendly.....The rooms were old....smelly.....A/C didn't work at all.... Called to get it repaired and noone showed up until like 2 hours later after i called....they switched me to another room which as i walked in the carpet was wet and the whole room smelled....noticed the toilet was overflowing...... Got switched to a 3rd room and i almost got shocked when i plugged in my Cell Phone.....This Hotel is just plain horrible........ Trust me, don't even attempt to go there.... Oh, and the pool is located like 2 blocks away from the actual hotel.....and when i went to go in, there was a nice little "GIFT" inside if you know what i mean...you would think the staff people would check the pool every day.

Nice place to stay
By Geo, 10/13/07
I liked the welcome and the attitude of the people who worked there. Friendly. Pick up at airport is lways a bit of a wait, but this one was better than most.

shuttle call unanswered
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/21/07
My daughter was traveling by herself for the first time and arrived in Miami expecting to be able to call the shuttle for this hotel. She called 13 times and each time was disconnected. She waited outside looking for it as well but it didn't come. I finally called the main 800 number and they called the hotel. They then told me that the hotel had been "too busy" to answer the phone because they had lots of check-ins! After about 30 minutes, my daughter finally gave up and took a taxi which cost her $14 -- no small change for a student. My husband and I will be stopping over in Miami on business in the fall and we will make a point NOT to stay here! What goes around, comes around (except the shuttle apparently)

Avoid this overpriced property
By Michael, 6/27/07
Pros: close to Airport Cons: Main floor area smelled musty. Only 1 elevator worked and it was very slow. Very worn room furnishings and carpet. Continental brakefast felt like being part of a feeding frenzy. Breakfast staff was understaffed and unable to keep up with stocking self serve items. The pool was actuall across the street and down a block in a parking lot. Three hotel properties shared the pool. Conclusion is that the price of $169 per night was very over priced for the quality of building and ammenities. Unfortunately stayed for a 4 day Convention. Never again!

VERY Good... with 2 BUTS.....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/3/04
The room was very nice and spotlessly clean .... bed was comfortable and of course the price was reasonable as well.So I would recommend it for those reasons. 1.)However, at sign out time, there was only one person on duty at the front desk... and one customer taking up all her time, while others were waiting to Pay for their room and catch the shuttle to the Airport. Definitely NOT convenient. 2.) the continental Breakfast was just fine.... BUT, the restaraunt at night time was NOT at all appealing nor was the service good - nor was the menu enticing. A good restaraunt is a must for Hotels. K. Ferguson
