Are you sure this hotel is a Ritz Carlton?
By Lee, 12/29/09
$25 daily valet parking required. Wait times up to 30 minutes to get your car back. No coffeemaker, but you can rent one for $25. I could BUY one for $25. Hotel management is non-existant, as can be witnessed by poor service. This hotel is not as nice as other Ritz Carltons, but they still charge the exorbitant prices. The restaurants were great, and food was good. If you stay in Naples, stay somewhere else, but come for their restaurants.

I Love The Grill - Best Fine Dining in Naples
By Chris, 06/12/09
The Grill at Ritz Naples is fantastic. I am given personal attention and treated as if I was the daughter of JP Marriotte every time I have the opportunity to dine there. The staff is highly trained and very perfessional. The food is extrodinary, especially the duck confit (which they took off the menu for summer :( ) Makes me look forward to fall when it is added back to the menu. There is always live music by two very talented artists playing both old classics and contemporary interpretations. The wine selection is the best in the South East. I Love Love Love The Grill. I highly recommend eating at this fine establishment even if you aren't staying at the Ritz Napels. It is well worth it! While your there say hi to Jason, Steve and Lamar for me...... Tell them I sent you :).

You won't regret it!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/14/08
My husband and I visited the Ritz in Naples this weekend and we had a wonderful time. We took advantage of a special rate that they were offering. We found the resort to be so beautiful and not enough can be said about how wonderful the staff is. They're all extremely helpful from the valet parkers to the staff at the Spa. They go out of their way to accomodate you. Everyone should go at least once in their lifetime. You will never want to leave!!!! I can't wait to go back.

Fabulous luxury!
By Gatsby, 01/17/08
Beautiful grounds, lovely rooms, incredible food. The onion wrapped filet mignon from room service was the best I ever had. Wow! We had a wonderful weekend and felt incredibly pampered. I would come back again and again. Loved it!

can't say enough!! what a treat
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/03/07
We were married there and the weather was not the best (it was hurricane season). The planner went around with us-at least 4 different locations "just in case".We were lucky & were able to have the ceremony out on the patio. As soon as we said our "I do's"...we no more got inside & the storm hit. They helped us plan our wedding long distance. We live in St.Louis so it really meant alot to have their expertise. They made it even more special than it already was.

Amazing Service and Ammenities
By KarenN, 09/01/07
Throughout our stay, we were constantly met by warm, accommodating staff who go out of their way to please. I was so impressed when I got lost and had to ask for directions of one of the hotel staff - the young lady was all too happy to escort me to where I had merely asked for directions – all the way on the other side of the resort! The accommodations for a Coastal View Room were outstanding. The room was large and very clean. The amenities are too extensive to list but everything you could possibly think of is provided from robes and slippers to the Bvlgari bath products. While enjoying cocktails in the lobby lounge, a waiter was passing by, overheard our conversation about celebrating my birthday, and came back soon after with a slice of cheesecake wishing me a Happy Birthday and apologizing for not knowing because he would have asked the band to play a song for me (by the way...they were incredible!). Imagine my delight by being recognized by such a wonderful, attentive waiter. Then, when I though it couldn’t get better, the waiter reappeared with a rose for both my friend and I along with an edible chocolate Happy Birthday card from the Ritz-Carlton. There is so much to do at this resort from jet skis and sunset sailings to shopping, restaurants and scooter rentals. The Spa and fitness center are unsurpassed. They offer all kinds of fitness classes from yoga and personal trainers to a service where they measure your metabolic rate and recommend a diet and fitness routine suited just for you. Of course also offered is a plethora of massage and spa services. I will definitely be returning to The Ritz.

Will not go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/27/07
My husband and I chose to stay at this hotel because we expected the best. Unfortunately, it was one terrible experience after another as soon as we arrived. We got to the hotel right at check-in, but our room was not ready. We went to lunch and waited 1 hour for them to prepare our room. When we made our reservation over the phone we were confirmed for a gulf view room (which we paid extra for) and a king bed. When we got to our room it was double beds and no view. We complained and waited over 45 minutes for them to switch our room. When we got to our new room it still did not have a gulf view (it was a view of the coastline if you stood out on the balcony and turned all the was to the right.) We were afraid they would make us wait another 45 mins, so we settled for this room. It was also dirty and when we called for maid service it took 1 1/2 hours for someone to come up. To top it off, my husband found a hair in his food at dinner. We talked to many other guests who were just as disappointed as us. We will stay at La Playa next time as another guest told us it is much nicer than the Ritz.
