Super 8 Panama City, Panama City

This is the worst hotel I have EVER stayed in, and I travel A LOT! First after we arrived at our scheduled day and time and after a 12 hour drive, the attendant refused to let us check in because the room was not ready. Once we got checked in we layed down to rest and there was sand still on the sheets and they wreaked! Leading me to believe they were never cleaned...Every morning of our stay we were out of towels and had to wait for housekeeping to make their daily rounds because they didn't keep extra towels, they only had a certain amount they used and we had to wait on them to be cleaned. The towels were basically large pieces of sandpaper by the way. All of the tendants were rude and cranky and acted as if we were a bother to them when we asked for their assistance. I will never stay at this hotel again, much less a Super 8.

I had a meeting downtown panama city and by staying at this location i was only 2 min. away. I had a good experience at this hotel i was scared after reading some of the reviews but after talking to the deskclerk over the phone i looked over them and went anyway and im glad i did. she was great and everything was fine i don't have anything bad to say they even called my room to make sure i found everything ok. I travel alot and stay at many dif. hotels and some alot more expen. and they don't call my room to make sure all is well. as a guest that went even after reading the reviews i was kinda worried but i will be visiting that hotel again. I really feel they were misunderstood.

The customer service was great the room was clean and had a nice smell. There was always fresh coffee in the lobby. I felt safe the desk clerk was joking with the person infront of me that let me know he had been here before and came back again.
