Luxary and Relaxing
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/2/07
I love this hotel, this was me and boyfriend first time in Miami and the experience was great. I recommend everyone to give this hotel a try. A little pricy with food and parking, but the room was always clean, and we were always treated like queen and king.Therr was nothing that they couldnt help us with and i give the staff a A+. The pool and beach was lovely, quite and peacefull not noisy like south beach. If you need a good little getaway from home or work this would be a good place to relax and get treated with royalty.

Paradise

My fiance took me to Sheraton Bal Harbor for my 30th birthday. We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived. If you want to be pampered this is the place to be.. It is worth the extra money.

Overpriced
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/23/06
Stayed at this hotel in August of 2005. Service was ridiculous and a service fee was attached to every little thing. More expensive than its equivalent in Maui, Hawaii.

Avoid At All Costs
By Jmanz, 8/21/06
Stayed August 19, 20 Sat and Sun night. Made reservations days in advance for 2 rooms, non-smoking, adjacent. Check-in 3pm. We arrived at 5 pm... rooms were not ready. "Come back in an hour". We returned at about 7pm..."Rooms are not ready." After we protested, the new person I spoke with put us in several unacceptable rooms: first, rooms far apart in the same floor; next, adjacent rooms in a smoking floor (gag##, cough**). Finally agreed to smaller, adjacent rooms because my family and I just wanted a place for our things. Pictures of the pool and outside looked GREAT... The reality: pieces of lime, fruit, candy on walkways (noticed only after you stepped on them of course). Green, strange-appearing water as part of the "waterfalls", overpriced breakfast buffet with few items... Given the cost, 170-200 per night;poor service, lack of cleanliness, this place is wayyy overpriced. The beach and location are nice but I have stayed at other Sheratons/Westins in Atlanta and elsewhere which were much better. This place was not up to the usually high standards of Sheraton/Westin.

Talk About Having it ALL!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/25/06
From the moment were greeted by the bellhops, we knew this was going to be a great place to stay. The lobby was so crispy-clean, gorgeous with a wonderful lounging spot complete with four different kinds of ice cold, fresh, fruit-flavored water. The check-in process was quick and easy, with friendly help as well. They upgraded all 4 of our rooms (considering we were there during the off-season) to king suites, which had the largest bathrooms of any hotel I had ever seen, incuding walk-in closets and two vanities. The pool just went on forever, including a water slide, and had many, many shady spots with umbrellas for the couple of us who were not up for lying in the sun. There was an outdoor restaurant right at the pool, for casual dining al fresco. Towels were available at the pool, two per key, which was nice. Also available for rental were these amazing cabanas complete with ceiling fans, tvs, refrigerators, lounging couches, towels, the works! Would have been GREAT had we brought our finicky kids who like to pool hop, then watch tv, then take a nap in the shade. They also had a kids club which seemed like it was filled with great activities for all ages. We used the concierge service, which was impeccable, and as we had been drinking all day, we needed a place within walking distance that had great food, and that would accept us in swimsuits and coverups. There were several restaurants to choose from, and the concierge was ultra-helpful in that area. (The ribs at the Irish pub place were outstanding!) The area was very up-scale; lots of high-end shopping within walking distance. It was farther from South Beach than we had anticipated, and cab fare for 8 people was not cheap each night, each way, but we considered it worth it not to have to designate a driver and car rental. We truly enjoyed our stay in the wonderfully comfortable beds and we hated when it was finally time to head home. We would definately go back to this hotel, and even take the kids next time. With so much to do in the area, it would make for a great family vacation !! The rate we received made it all worth it, too. You wouldn't beleive how inexpensive this place is! (The only thing that was a bummer, and this was my first time at North Miami Beach, was that there was really no surf to speak of at the beach. The waves were so big and violent, you could not even step one foot into the ocean without being knocked down.)

great
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/14/06
the only thing I disliked about this place was the cost. It was pricey but mostly worth the experience! I loved the view of my personal room. The service was absolutely wonderful. My whole family enjoyed the comfort and luxury of where we stayed. Like I said before it was great and I would love to visit again!
