Did not meet expectations

This is rated the same stars as other nearby hotels, but did not compare to them. Room smelled moldy/musty, A/C was either freezing or hot. Lobby is a half floor higher than the elevator and is not friendly for the disabled, they need special assistance getting into a lift that takes you down to the elevators. Breakfast was in a hall next to the front desk. I would never stay here again. Front desk staff was nice.

Comfortable Hotel

Front desk service was good Food average Room clean Location convenient. Would have been great if there was a shuttle service or links with a tour service to see the area.

Recommend against this hotel

The hotel overall had a musty smell to it, which set the tone of the stay. The maid service did make the bed each day, which is saying quite a lot. It seems they are trying to renovate this old hotel to be a Holiday Inn Express, but this is a very old and tired place. You get what you pay for, but I there are better deals in Tallahassee. On the up-shot, they did have complimentary wireless Internet access which operated quite well.
