It was great!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/17/08
It was perfect with children. We have been there three times and the gulf front units are definitely the best. The units are all different so insist on seeing pictures first. They have a free childrens program and a small lake with fish to feed and grills for grilling out and alot of picnic tables. The beach here gets deep very slowly and is sheltered somewhat by a sand bar out a ways and so it is a bit calmer waters for small children than many spots in Sanibel or Captiva. We really didn't need any help from staff and didn't see many other than at the pool all week. The shell collecting here is wonderful.

can't wait to go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/9/06
this is one of the nicest if not the nicest condo. This is one of the only ones that has beach chairs out on the beach for you and is easily accessible from the condos. With other condos you have to walk thru vegetation before getting to the beach area. Great activities for kids. The condo is very roomy. You must rent bikes when you are visiting and you must make a stop at the Island Cow. My family and I will be going in a few weeks for our 4th year.

By Hogie W, 11/13/05
It was an awsome hotel with private beach and pool. Migrating pelicans stopped by are room. Breakfast buffet included bacon, eggs, omlets, and Sausage. My 2 room suite cost 121 dollars with toll pass.

Great location & Units
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/16/05
Our Family has gone back for Six years in a row. It is the best property on Sanibel and it's hard to beat the overall beauty. Do not look for extensive activities nor much socialization; if that's your cup of tea, this is not your place. Quiet, serene, and a great place to relax for the week or month. Anytime we desire activities, we go bike riding, go to nearby Captiva, or hit the Ft Myers area. Sanibel is perfect for our needs.

Pretty but crowded.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/14/05
This is a large complex with very pretty grounds and a beautiful beachfront. The buildings were well-maintained and clean. The childrens activities were also quite good. One big disappointment though, was the swimming pool. The pool is VERY small and crowded. For a complex so large, I was amazed to find such a tiny pool. They do specify and "adult" swim time, but this is not enforced.

SHELLING AND SHARKS
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/19/04
WE WILL MAKE OUR 11TH RESERVATION AT POINTE SANTO THIS YEAR. WE HAVE MEET ALOT OF FRIENDLY PEOPLE WHO STAY AT THIS COMPLEX. AT NIGHT, DO NOT GO SWIMMING! WE ALONG WITH OTHER FISHERMEN, HAVE CAUGHT MANY SHARKS OF SIZE. SHELLING IS TERRIFIC IN FRONT OF THE COMPLEX AS WELL AS EITHER SIZE. BOOK POINTE SANTO. YOU WILL BE VERY PLEASED.
