Great Hotel

My family had a great weekend enjoying south Florida. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very professional and accomodating. The two room set up was perfect for us. My husband had one room and our son had the front room with the sofa bed so he could stay up later and not disburb our sleep. The complimentary breakfast produced made to order omelets which were very good and the manager's evening reception was nice to enjoy a cocktail out at the pool. We really enjoyed our weekend and if I wanted to go to Boca in the future, I would again stay at this hotel.

Very nice hotel

We stayed at the Embassy Suites at Boca Raton Aug. 28, 2007 for 3 nights while visiting our parents. We plan to stay at this hotel again. The room was exceptionally clean. The front lobby staff very friendly and we enjoyed the free breakfast and managers reception.

until you realize

i think the staff at this embassy suites was great. i stayed here for a short get away weekend trip with my husband a few weeks ago. i used to work in a hotel and i know how hard it is to work at the front desk. all day you stand there and listen to annoying guests complain about things that are not your fault but you have to pick up the responsibility anyways. the girls at the desk were very helpful, as were the gentlemen. i didnt really like the fact that the pool was in the shade the entire time, but unlike other guests im not going to go yell at the front desk staff for it. after all, is it really their fault? no, they didnt build the hotel. the breakfast was great, the rooms were very nice and clean. before i went to this hotel i read the comments posted on this site and was a little nervous about visiting, but after staying there myself i would like to inform everyone that this is a great hotel and i recommend it highly.

Not your average Embassy Suites

The breakfast is great. The room itself was outdated. It is obvious that this hotel needs updating. The furniture in the two bedroom suite looked as if they purchased it from a scratch and dent store. Both rooms had furniture from 1980's along with the carpet and drapes. The staff was friendly but this isnt what you would expect from an Embassy Suites. There was obvious construction in the lobby. I would not stay here again. Pool was dirty.

Home away from home...

I love this place. I live in a nearby city less than five miles from this hotel. Whenever I am looking for the perfect place to get away, Embassy Suites in Boca is my favorite place to go!

Nice but...

On the negative side most of the front desk staff were less than courteous, unfamiliar with the area and clueless about the availability of essential services around the hotel. You expect more from a Hilton family hotel at this price level. Also, the proximity to the railroad was a source of occasional annoying noise. Finally, the fittness room is a joke and the pool is in the shade most of the time. On the positive side, suites are nice, clean and functional. Food is OK (could be better). All three elevators are working most of the time (elevators of both sides of the atrium would be great).
