The Longboat Key Club and Resort is a 410-acre private resort and club located on the island of Longboat Key, just off the mainland of Sarasota. The resort is located just one hour from Tampa and just two hours from Orlando attractions. Eight miles from Sarasota/Bradenton International Airport, 52 miles south of St. Petersburg/Clearwater International Airport and 60 miles south of Tampa International Airport. The area attractions include Mote Marine Aquarium, Ringling Museums, Selby Botanical Gardens, Jungle Gardens, Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, Asolo Center for the Performing Arts, Florida West Coast Symphony, Sarasota Opera & Sarasota Ballet, Golden Apple Dinner Theater, Florida Studio Theater, and The Players Theater.
