Don't stay here!

this place is still run down. guests running around at 3 am. No extras at all. Towels awful. If looking for a good nights rest, don't stay here. I did not feel safe staying here alone

bad idea

didn't realize we would be right next to the main runway for the airport, sounded like the planes were taking off on top of the roof most of the night, didn't sleep very well

Horrible

The reviews must be written by employees of the hotel. Looking out of my room window reminded me of an episode of COPS. It was absolutely disgusting and unorganized. None of the employees could tell me where anything was located. An it took a long time to check in, longer than usual. How it gets 4 out of 5 stars, I can't understand it. It's definelty not worth the lower price.

Good for one night

We stayed at the La Quinta for a night in April, 2005 because it was close the airport. The room was clean and comfortable enough. The hallways near the lobby smelled kind of bad, like urine. The pool was clean, unfortunately, there weren’t towels available there so we brought along the ones in our room. The continental breakfast was average, mostly with prepackaged foods i.e. donuts, danishes, some fruit though. The location isn’t conducive to walking. We attempted crossing several lanes of traffic to visit the mall situated diagonally from the hotel, probably not the safest thing to do and there isn't a light at the turn into the hotel, so you are at the mercy of oncoming traffic.

service was terrible and the room smelled

It was by far one of the worst hotel we stayed in. It was close to the airport but their shuttle service was really late and we had to call repeatedly to pick us up and then it went around for 15 minutes picking up everyone around the airport to take us to the hotel in 25 minutes and the distance was only 1 mile...I would have taken a taxi had I known what would happen. The girl at the reception desk gave us wrong information about the shuttle service in the morning and failed to give us a wake up call at 6 a.m. and would have made us miss the early morning flight. The room smelled of old carpet and other unidentifiable odors. It was a very unpleasant and never to be repeated experience. The breakfast was a joke also. The coffee cap didn't even fit their cups and we ended up spilling the entire cup of hot coffee all over ourselves!!! The final insult to cap it off.

Very pleasant

We got in so very late and our room was ready and waiting. Room was clean, quiet and pleasant with plenty of towels. (my pet peeve). Very convenient to the airport and very easy to find. The breakfast they provide is quite extensive. Lots of selections, hot and cold.
