Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort, Deerfield Beach

My wife and I were going to stay 1 night on our way home to PA from our trip to the keys. We ended up staying 3 nights and would have stayed longer but needed to get home. What can I say, location, location, location. On a classically beautiful uncrowded beach with palm trees and lovely aquamarine colored ocean. Oh yeah the hotel. It is new (actually completely upscale renovated former HoJo) with comfortable rooms, a friendly and helpful staff, a nice patio restaurant/bar with live music at night, heated outdoor pool. I think that on our next trip to Florida we will skip the keys and spend a week at this hotel.

The view of the ocean is beautiful from the hotel and the restaurants in the hotel. It is very close to the fishing pier and restaurants in the surrounding strip. The inside of the hotel needs updating. The rugs are shabby and the furniture in the lobby needs to be replaced. Our room overlooked the city and it was very noisy. We heard trash trucks coming all day long starting early in the morning. The fitness room didn't have anything useful for people to use. The bed felt like sleeping on a brick and the front desk people were not friendly at all. It was clean though and the beach was right there and the food in the hotel restaurant was good. The staff that hangs around the pool is too loud having their own personal conversations which could annoy the guest trying to read or relax. Overall, the hotel is fine to stay in if you plan on sightseeing or plan to be out most of the day. For staying any length of time though, it isn't luxurious enough and you will be disappointed.

I just wanted to pass on we were at this Hotel in June 2008 and we loved it. The place was clean, staff very friendly and the view was great. We were so close to the beach and we rented bikes close by to go for a bike ride through the neighbour hoods. The houses were beautiful along with the scenery of the water way. My daughter and I went down the street to a spa to get pedicure. We also saw fish being caught, a sting ray and lots of colorful fish. It is a must to stay , we loved it and have been recommending to others. We will be returning in December 2008.

Affordable ocean front rooms have fantastic view. Close to numerous restaurants and across from fishing pier. Good room service breakfast. In October 2007....Ocean Front Bar under construction. Hot tub heater was broken. 1 of 2 elevators failed several times during my stay, catching a few guests on the elevator, though mechanical problem seemed to be fixed by 3rd day. I had made my reservations by phone and the hotel had not record - - - call weeks in advance to reconfirm your reservation.

the hotel was great. the room was great. the food was great. the pool was great. the service was great. i would stay here again.
