The worst!! Horrible! Trash!! Nasty!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/8/11
The beds had no spreads or dust ruffles. There was mold on the ceiling and walls! The carpet was beyond filthy!! The mirror on the wal was hanging out of frame and could have cut you if it fell. The stench in the room was nauseating and unhealthy. The property was unfit for human use.

Absolutely gross and disgusting!!!!
By ROBERT, 2/20/10
How can you Ramada allow this hotel to put their name on it? It was the worst experience of my life. Bad service and the room was just a mess. Stained carpets and curtains, it smelled bad in the room, the hallways too. The coffee maker in the room had a large amount of mold growing in it. Burned out light in the bathroom, hot water took forever to come. The staff seems oblivious to had bad this hotel is or more likely they don't care. I only went there because I got stranded in Miami overnight due to a flight connection problem and the reservation was made for me. However, I cannot believe I paid to stay in that dump, the floor at the airport would have been more sanitary. If this is the kind of place Ramada will allow to operate with their name then I will never stay at any of their hotels ever again.

Not worth it...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/30/09
Never expected a Ramada Inn to be this run-down! The hallways had dirty carpets with exposed pipes underneath the ceiling. The room itself also had dirty carpets, we were too afraid to walk around barefoot so we wore sandals at all times. In the bathroom, the towels looked clean, but found pubic hair on one of them when I opened it up before taking a shower. Another reviewer commented on the shower head having the power of a fire hose...that is definitely true, it was almost painful. The shower curtain was too small, and didn't stop the shower water from going all over the floor. Anything good? The bed was clean (although I did have to inspect it before getting in, based on how dirty the rest of the place was), and the air conditioner worked fine. It was pretty easy to get a parking spot close to the door as well. The hotel is located right next to the highway, near a mall, and lots of restaurants.

Not in great shape
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/25/09
This place was not in great shape. Halls were a little depressing with poor carpets and unfinished ceilings. Bathtub had no handle and TV had only 10 channels! Soundproofing was not great either. On the other hand, the posted price was only $60 and the ceramic in the bathroom was pretty good. No problems with cleanliness. Overall, surprised this was a Ramada. Denis Hosdil

perfect space for meetings, highly recomended
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/21/09
My organization conducted a training meeting and luncheon at the Ramada Inn Miami Airport North. The hotel is newly refurbished and the staff was quite accomodating. The catering was also excellent. We have already scheduled our next event for July. I also spent one night, and was extremely satisfied with my room. Amazing value.

THIS WAS A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE ON MY VACATION. I WOULD HAVE JUST AS SOON STAYED ON A BENCH SOMEWHERE ON THE STREET!! THIS PLACE DOES NOT DESERVE ANY STARS WHAT SO EVER!!

Yuck!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/6/08
Too bad it is not possible to give this place 0 stars. I can't believe they are allowed to use the Ramada brand for this dump. Seeing that most everything was booked and this was the cheapest hotel in town at $79. Oh but wait, with taxes of $9 plus a mandatory payment of $3.14 for an electronic safe that I knew I wouldn't use because I would only be there overnight totaled to $91. We were assigned to room 308. The elevator was rickety and the certification had expired in July 07. Got to the room and there was only a washcloth hanging in the bathroom. Called the front desk but they never sent any towels. I had to go back down and just so happened they had two in a closet next to the front desk. This place was pure nasty. They have a contraption in the place of a normal showerhead that makes it feel as if you are getting washed down with a firehose. Then on top of that half of the water goes outside of the tub and onto the floor. Stained shower curtain? Never seen that before but I was afraid to ask. If it wasn't for the business me and my date had to take care of (although I was embarassed to take her to a place as such), I would have preferred to sleep in the car.

rude/ never went back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/29/07
I have been coming to Miami for 5 years . The first year i booked at the Ramada while checking on my online reservation the clerk was very rude to me, said he could not find it even though i had a print out from the computer, he acted as though i was telling lies and made me wait for almost 30 minutes before he manage to find it, it was late and i was tired so i took the room but left the next day for another hotel never went back to the Ramada.

Worst hotel I've ever seen
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/1/07
We booked online and didn't expect a 1st class hotel but what we found was HORRIBLE!!! When we drove into the hotel we thought - ok definitely not 5-star. Walked into the lobby, 1st clue was how dingy, dark and dirty everything was. We figure we won't be in the lobby anyway so we check in. The elevator was dirty. Still we figure the rooms can't be that bad. Open our room door and find a DUMP. The furniture is all beaten up, the curtain is falling off the hook, the bathroom faucet is running (cannot be turned off) the bathroom sink has circular holes in the enamel. I call the front desk to complain and I'm told they've assigned us the wrong room. My hubby goes to get the key for the "right" room. Two doors down we walk into the worst smelling room ever. My sinuses immediately go wacko. I call the front desk again. They offer to send up house-keeping. Told them there was no way house-keeping could fix the smell in that room. Smelt like damp, moldy carpet. The clerk offers us another room and brings up the key. While waiting in the hall-way my husband and I decide that we cannot stay in this hotel. We decline to ever enter the 3rd room. The clerk was very polite and we didn't have to pay a cancellation fee or 1 night's stay. We drove across to the Howard Johnson and asked to see a room first before checking in. They were great and we spent 3 very comfortable nights there. I would never have expected a Ramada to be so horrible. Do not under any circumstance stay here!!!
