Super 8 Tampa, Tampa

I booked a vacation based on their great low price at this hotel on E Fletcher Ave. . Luckily a friend who lives in Tampa called and said it was the most dangerous area in Tampa and that their was a lot of crime around in in that hotel. Not believing it I called a business next to the Super 8 and they also said DO NOT STAY THERE. The Super 8 corpoprate offices should hear about this and do something. It hurts their reputation. No wonder this hotel has a no refund policy. When I looked at it on Google maps, it looked empty and scary.

Liked: The manager was friendly, check in was easy as it was late, coffee was good Dislike: dirty shower/tub, piss on toilet seat, pillow cover stained (not the case), floor dirty, room hot upon entrance, too far from airport., hair in tub. Breakfast: danishes and nutrigrain bars, orange juice, apple juice, or coffee. I find that a lot of hotels independently owned normally do not stand up to corporate owned standards. This one was one of those. Below it asks what it's best for: nothing. I would not let my dog stay for free.

CHarge me for four Night Stay but I only stay three.. The Desk lady was Rude, Nasty and Dose not know the Meaning of Customer Services. When I called to get the Charges review and a reason why she just kept saying I would have to call back in the Morning. The Free Breakfast is a joke. The Services and rooms Here are The Worst. Beware of this stop off I 275

This place was great for the money. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and smelled fresh upon opening the door. With the location being right off the interstate, it was easy to jump on and off to get to the places we wanted to visit. I was very pleased.

2 double beds and both had stained sheets and blankets. had to wait over an hour for the sheets and then had to strip the beds and make them up ourselves. Desk person at night was RUDE I was trying very hard to stay nice. He stated he was tired of my "bitching" when I only called once and went down to check on the status after 45 minutes. then he gave us only fitted sheets. Don't waste your time, go somewhere else and the previous reviews must have come from owner's family. Scary area too!

i that stays anywhere will not stay at this nasty place ever again it was really gross and filthy and they were real rude and mean screw this piece of trash dont stay here!
