Never ever again and shame on Spinnaker Resorts!
This place should not have the title "Resort" in it's name. It's desperately in need of renovation, and it was horrible. We arrived on a Sunday night, after a LONG day of driving from Atlanta and were excited to check in. When we got into the room, the beds looked old and sunken, the sheets looked as though they had been there for a few years, and I really didn't even want to touch them. Then we found out that toilet leaked (being in the car so many hours the first thing you want to do is go to the bathroom), so we called and requested another room. We got another room, it looked the same, but we were so tired, we just decided to go to bed. I needed to check my email first, so I went to plug in my BRAND NEW laptop. Big mistake! As I put the plug in the outlet, it sparked, so I made sure I didn't plug my computer in there and used the battery. I was afraid it would short my laptop, then I would have been really pissed off. Anyway, in the morning, we go to take showers, and after my husband showered, we noticed the water would not drain from the tub. To describe it as gross is an understatement. Needless to say, I made my children wipe themselves clean from the basin and I made the decision to shower at the next hotel we went to. We promptly packed and checked out, although we were supposed to be there for four nights. Not in this lifetime!
I'm doubly disappointed because we were sent there by Spinnaker Resorts, and we were supposed to listen to their timeshare presentation. Needless to say, I did not attend a presentation and I informed them that I would not be purchasing anything.
This is a really pathetic excuse for a "resort" and I recommend you find someplace better if you are visiting Daytona/Ormond Beach.
