Not worth allowing an animal to sleep here
First sight, roaches on the fridge & furniture. Too tired and too late to be changing rooms and there were MANY vacancies. (I see why)
Tiles were cracking apart from tub and grout, light fixtures inopperable, paint & decor pealing from walls...one of the TWO towels in the bathroom had food on it. Looked as if someone wiped their spagetti face there! The floor was so damp & dirty, our feet turned black if we stepped on it without slippers even for a moment. Dirty sink, filthy (w/feces) toilet...I don't think anyone even cleaned this room at all.
Hard-pressed to find a working ice machine anywhere. The area wasn't the best, but we came for a one night stay. There were places inside where there used to be apliances such as hair dryer and coffee machine and they were missing! The worst part was that we were charged over $80 due to that particular weekend being a 'Gator Game Day' and we weren't the least bit interested in a party. Do lodging facilities only cater to college students and sports enthusiasts these days? It was awful. Wouldn't kennel my pets there. We should be re-imbursed, credited or given a free night at a sister hotel that has been cleaned! If you want a dirty place to 'crash' after a night of drinking...it's still not worth it! A letter will be going out to the location we stayed at as well as their corporate office. From the sound of the previous reviews, it seems that they have been operating this way for many years. It's a shame. It's no way to run a business.
