The Normandy Hotel, Washington

This is a beautiful hotel in a quiet neighborhood. The staff is friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. You get the feel of a high end hotel, without the cost. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location - within walking distance to Dupont Circle metro. I felt very safe walking around the area. Friendly service and clean. A quiet cozy place to stay and I would choose this place again.

Before arriving at Jury's, I expected this hotel to uphold their mission statement and values they market. Unfortunately, upon arrival the daily operations of this hotel surfaced. Issues: 1) Foul smelling odor in both hallways and in my room. Unclear were the source was, i.e the linen or laundry. Musky odor in the business center, from a ceiling leaking water onto the carpets. 2) Rapdinly overheating iron, despite being set on low. In turn left a burn mark on my suit dress shirt. I raised this issues to the management. With crossed arms and a harse tone, they explained this was my fault and nothing can be done. As a result I was not able to deliver an oral presentation with this suit and dress shirt at a National Conference the Hilton Washington. 3) Dirty and not worth the hassel, there are several other quality hotels within the area that uphold their values. This hotel should not be rated higher than a 2 star.

the hotel was great. the room was great. the food was great. the service was great. the looby was great. i would stay here again.

The Jurys Normandy is a little taste of Europe in the middle of the most beautiful city in the United States. Very cozy yet cosmopolitan. It is our hotel of choice in DC whether for a getaway or on business. We spent our anniversary there and the staff went out of their way to make it special once our kids let them in on it. A very good choice for women who are travelling on business.
