Comfort Inn Dulles International Airport, Herndon

This hotel has great customer service. It was a well kept hotel and the room was great, location was outstanding, all good resturants within walking distance. Amer the front desk person gave me great directions and was very helpful.

The whole building is air-tight. I could smell fungus everywhere. The bedroom windows are not openable, there is no air exchange to outside. I could not fall asleep almost all night.

I've stayed a number of local area hotels and this has been the worst. The walls were paper thin, my room had not been made up when they sent me to it, the breakfast was bland and ordinary, and the lobby had a foul odor. Pass this hotel by and try another one.

THE HOTEL ALL IN ALL WAS FINE, THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN, THE FRONT DESK WAS VERY COURTEOUS. OUR PROBLEMS AROSE WHEN WE ATE BREAKFAST BEFORE CHECKING OUT. WE DID NOT CHECK IN UNTIL 4 AM DUE TO A PLANE DELAY, SO WE DIDN'T MAKE IT TO BREAKFAST UNTIL RIGHT BEFORE THEY WERE TO QUIT SERVING. THE LADY IN CHARGE OF THE BREAKFAST ROOM WAS EXTREMELY RUDE. SHE MADE SURE TO LET US KNOW THAT SHE WAS NOT PUTTING ANYMORE FOOD OUT AND WE NEEDED TO HURRY UP. THERE WASN'T A GOOD MORNING OR ANYTHING. I KIND OF FEEL LIKE SHE DOESN'T NEED TO BE IN A CUSTOMER SERVICE POSITION. HOPEFULLY THE MANAGERS CAN RECTIFY THIS SITUATION. BRAVO TO ALL OF THE OTHER FOLKS ON STAFF!! STAYED 7/16/05

This hotel was extremely nice and comfortable. Large rooms. Laundry room. Great breakfast. Excellent all around. Highly recommended.

Upon my brothers return from Afghanistan, he paid me a surprise overnight visit. I received a call from him after he checked in at the Comfort Inn at Dulles airport. With the vast array of Hotels at the airport I was surprised at my brothers selection, we grew up as Hotel snobs... Upon arrival at the Hotel, I found that the room was clean and well appointed. The front desk clerk gave a cheerful smile and my brother and I were on our way. Around 1:00 AM I called the front desk to see how long it would take to get to our morning destination and to try for directions. A very helpful fellow answered gave estimates, directions, and warnings about the traffic. An hour or so later, we finally called for a wake-up call. Our wake-up call was prompt and courteous and we had both slept very comfortably. A short time after, the phone rang. It was the night auditor that I had spoken with at 1:00 AM, he was calling to warn that he was driving the route that he had suggested for us and that there was a 10+ mile back-up. He then gave us an alternate route to take and wished us a good day! How fabulous! We arrived at our destination on time. Great Hotel and WONDERFUL staff!
