This hotel is OK for its price.
By George K, 03/13/09
Staff is friendly, however hotel's non-smoking policy is not enforced. Breakfast is not so good.....

No to the Comedy Club
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/30/08
What a dump...We paid $20 to get in a it was horrid. What a cheap, crappy place. Two of the four comedians was funny- the rest should look into a new career- the main comedian was by far worst - The seating was a small bar like area- the wait staff was slow and really paid little attention to our needs-- how disappointing once we paid our bill we hit the road. I would say "NO" to this place

I think that your hotel is second rate
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/04/07
I was with the W-L high school reunion. 9-28-29-07 I am going to plead with our reunion committee, NEVER to subject us to your low standards again. Mainly the restaurant. Especially breakfast is just awful, and to expensive. Relaxing in your bar was not fun. I was severly overcharged for the simple rental of a 27 inch TV. If my reunion people insist on coming back to your hotel, I will not be there. I hated it. We were denied the use of the pool, of which I was especially interested. Not open during the week????????

They are great here! The price is right, the cocktails are almost bizarrely strong, and the staff is great!! the location is convenient and beautiful. The food is quite good also.

Average Conference Location
By BrioE, 03/08/07
Although the location of the hotel and shape that the building is in leaves much to be desired, as a conference/meeting place it is quite adequate.

Hidden Camera in The Wall.
By T, 12/18/06
I stayed there in Nov. 1996. The AC was broken but that was the least of the problems. There was a hidden video camera in a painting on the wall (it was a picture of several colorful ocean fish.) An FBI agent by the name of Miguel Fabregas was staying in the room across the hall from me. I saw him again the next day when he rode the same van which took us to the CIA's Stafford building at 1500 Westbranch Drive. Tom Christian Weston,FL

Capitol visits
By Paul, 05/23/05
The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accomodating, dispite only have half of the (confirmed)reservation the manager was able to accomodate our needs and improved our assigned rooms (there were two Jr. and/or Sr. High groups staying there and he moved us away from that comotion). The facilities were very adequate, however the advertized "heated pool" wasn't dispite the lifeguards assurance that it was 79 degrees, it felt much cooler than that. Also the spa and steam room were "being repaired." The room service pizza was better than most of the resturant pizza's we've had, and pretty inexpensive too! The front desk staff was very helpful with directions and the complementary shuttle service to the METRO was an added bonus and the drivers very knowledgable. We will probably return here again the next time we visit our nations Capitol.
