you get what you pay for

I was not happy with the service at this Days Inn. In my opinion, the most basic hotel service is getting a good night's sleep. I needed to get two extra pillows, one for my son to sleep in his sleeping bag on the floor, and one for my wife. The front desk clerk said there were no more available, that all had been taken already. The second night I asked again and the same clerk said again that they were all gone (even at 7 pm). I then asked for a couple of towels since we were only given two, and then two more to use as a pillow. Upon hearing that, the other clerk, a kind woman, said "you're not serious?" I said that I was and that my son had used two last night. A few minutes later we got a call from the front desk; they had found two pillows. I thanked the kind clerk profusely. It was hard to believe that there were no pillows available anywhere since the hotel was far from full.
Our room also had a fast dripping bath spigot that was loud enough to be heard when sleeping. It had been leaking so long that it had formed a large rust stain. What a water waste!
Our TV reception was horrid; we could barely make out the picture through the snow. I tightened the cable connections to no avail. Our phone had no dial tone, but fortunately I found that it was merely disconnected. Our clock radio hadn't had the time changed a week later.
If you stay at this location anyway, consider yourself warned!
