Not all that great.

I liked the price of the hotel, but the room was dirty, their was cobwebs and some dirt in corners. Their was hand prints on the mirrors from the last residence. The hallways and room smelled kinda funny too. The service was great, really nice people, just not that clean.
 
 
 
 
 
never going back there

The Room was very,very dirty. The Chair in front of table was stained, the bed spread was dirty. Bedside table had somesort of fluid on it. The carpet was so dirty that we would not take ouer shoes off. Not even a place to sitt at breakfast. N E V E R GOING BACK THERE

Very dissapointed!

I was very dissapointed with this Howard Johnson Motel. I have stayed in others and this one has to be the worst ever. The entire building has an awful smell to it, and the rooms are worse. Plumbing problems forced us to change rooms and the second room we were in smelled of cigarrette smoke even though the room was listed as non-smoking. The elevator was frightening to say the least. It shakes from side to side and makes awful creaking sounds. The floor on the second floor gives way when you walk giving the feeling that you could fall through. They do have a continental breakfast in which they serve milk. I arrived just as it was ending and the milk I used for my coffee was bad.

The place is dirty and I wouldn't stay there again. The pillows were stained with sweat or water. It was disgusting. I had stayed in there about 12 yrs ago, and I really thought it would be renovated. I was so wrong. The place has not changed, and its not very clean at all.
 
 
 
 
 
Good value; incompetent staff

For the $85, this experience was slightly above average. Quiet suburban area near highway, spacious rooms, comfortable bed. Arrived at 3am after a Red Sox game, gave several weeks' notice about a late check-in. Had to argue to get a one-hour extension to get some rest. Next morning, was called five minutes past the original check-out time by someone with no knowledge of the arrangement. Was also told one could get to NYC within 45 minutes; more like 90 in non-peak period.

during my stay at the Howard Hohnson in milford, I thought that the service was average and cleanliness was very poor. The location was great for what I needed and the value of Howard Johnson is average. Would I stay again in Howard Johnson.
