I wish I could give a review on my stay at the Comfort Inn Vernon, but despite paying in full and receiving a confirmation number, I turned up only to find that my reservation was not being honored and that I had no room. The lady at the counter was extremely rude which made a bad situation even worse. She just kept repeating that she didn't have a room to give me, and shrugged me off whenever I tried to show her my confirmation number. Because of this, I will NEVER stay at a Comfort Inn. I would honestly rather sleep in my car.

Pleasant Visit

I enjoyed our stay at Comfort Inn. It was a nice breaking point on a long drive. It seemed like a family-run place and the people working were very pleasant. We walked in at 10 at night to see if they had a room and they still gave us a good rate. The breakfast was well-stocked. Also the rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. Would definitely stay there again.

Unfriendly Staff

We checked in around 3pm and they made us wait in the lobby for 45 minutes. They claimed the room we reserved was not ready. We reserved a room with 2 beds - nonsmoking. 2 people. Did this hotel only have 1 room with 2 beds nonsmoking? GIVE ME A BREAK. We left and went to that Hojos right next door and saved almost 30 bucks after tax. The rooms were straight over there too...

Ripoff

The place was a ripoff...for the price you should be getting a lot better rooms. You cant charge an exorbant price and expect people not to complain or ask for extra shampoo or towels. The breakfast was nonexistant at 945 AM and when we asked to replenish, it took 20 minutes.

Great Staff

Best Value Found

I found the Comfort Inn in Vernon, CT to be the best value I found in the Hartford area. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, the front desk friendly and the breakfast very good. Being right off the highway was extremely convenient yet a quiet location. The rates were reasonable and a great value. High Speed Internet was free and recently installed!! Worked great!! I would stay at the Comfort Inn in Vernon again and again!!

The Big Disapointment

I use this chain of hotel during fishing season the service was great, on this stay I chose this chain for my vaction and what differance when things slow down (off season for myrtle beach).I arrived and was greeted by someone who l thought was a member of the cleaning department(no uniform or name tag),first room was fine the only problem the no water in the bathroom I ask to change rooms and was switched to a much smaller room ok this it i just drove over 300 miles after getting off from work I was in no mood to complain, I made the best of it and tried to enjoy my vacation and not think about it but each nite I returned the disapointment was there to greet me, there some other things.
