Greeley Inn, Greeley

When we arrived at this motel (we booked online) I was shocked!! I have never been in such a nasty place in my life. The air conditioner didnt work and when I complained he said it worked fine and to just turn it on high. The problem being it made so much noise that i couldnt hear myself think..not to mention it didnt cool. we were asked if we could be really quiet because they have OIL FIELD workers LIVING there!! So we were quiet...only to be kept ALL NIGHT by these very same OIL FIELD WORKERS!!! They partied all night long. When I complained to the nasty owners..it was pretty much an "oh well" experience. these nasty people cater to people living in their motel and could care less about anyone else. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!. And the whole night there were hookers and drug dealers out in the lot. Ofcourse when I complained about this too..it was another "oh well" experience. Never Again...and I would recommend that anyone reading this AT THE VERY LEAST...DO NOT BOOK ONLINE...TAKE A LOOK FIRST AND YOU WILL SEE WHAT I MEAN!! Anyone posting ANYTHING nice about this place is either lying OR THEY OWN THE MOTEL!!!

The room had what appeared to be dried blood on the wall,crumbs and stains on the floor. The swimming pool had scum on the bottom of if, and our friend actually cut her foot on a piece of chipped paint on the bottom of that pool! The woman was nice enough to let us switch rooms, but that place should be reported to the health department!

This is a little 'mom and pop' owned and opperated motel! They are very friendly and always have a smile on thier face. They are very accommodating to their guests needs and wishes. The pool is a little cool but clean and a fun place to relax! There is also coffee in the office every morning! The rooms are clean, well kept and smoke free. There is air conditioning for the hot summer nights. The only place we will stay in Greeley!

Last October I stayed at the Greeley Inn for couple of nights. the lady at the front desk told me where the nearest restaurant and Greeley mall is.She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the city.My room was Very clean and comfortable .I enjoyed my stay at the motel.

I stayed at this motel back in May as a last resort because I needed somewhere cheap to stay and boy do I ever regret this decision. The room was disgusting and not very clean, I am not sure that all of the rooms were this way, but the one I got sure was! The beds were very lumpy and uncomfortable to sleep in, the pillows aren't very fluffy and it feels as are you sleeping with your head on the mattress. The room also doesn't appear to be cleaned very thoroughly by the housekeepers. I checked in the back of the headboard and noticed that on the rug there was a bunch of dirt buildup, which looked like has been there for awhile. The ceiling above the AC vent had a reasonable size of which appeared to be mold or a result of something leaking from the upstairs room. The bathroom was also not very good. The sink was being held up on the left side by what looked like a piece of an iron rod used to build freeways, the shower is very small and the shower head is also placed very low, which is a big inconveinence for me since I am 5'10, it's almost as if it was built for someone who is 4'0 tall! So all-in-all with this in mind, I definitely would NOT stay at this place again. Like I said, I am not sure that all of their rooms look this way, but to have the nerve to rent out something as disgusting like this, I was appalled. I swear this place should be condemned!

we stayed at this motel many times and enjoyed our stay.we have rested very comfortably .The rooms are very nicely cleaned .The staff thinks very highly of Greeley and the state.

I stayed at this hotel for one night only with my 9 year old granddaughter. It is an old hotel, the room was clean but the air conditioning didn't work and we had to leave the window open at night. It was noisy and we did not sleep well and left to find another hotel the next day.

The Greeley Inn is one of the last "mom and pop" family-owned hotel/motel establishments left in Greeley. Their superb customer service reflects their more than 20 years of hospitality experience. Their commitment to service and excellence is unmatched. Their newly remodeled motel rooms make it a most enjoyable and relaxing experience. Moreover, there are numerous adjacent restaurants within several blocks of the property. They are the only motel located adjacent to the University of Northern Colorado college campus.

I have been staying at the Greeley Inn for the past 15 years since I come through on business and I have nothing but praise for the staff and property. I actually talked with the owners about the first two reviews. They first told me that they were unaware that yahoo even listed their property on its site. I was even surprised when I first saw the rates listed on the site because I used to pay those back when I started coming to Greeley in the late 1980's! I don't know of any motel in Greeley that would give you a room for those old rates. Now the first reviwer said he was quoted a rate of $34.95 which is about what I pay when I stay at the Greeley Inn. The second reviewer stated that he was quoted a rate of $37.50 and that doesn't seem unreasonable given that all motels get full in Greeley during the summer and some even charge 1.5 to 2 times that amount! After talking with the owners about these reviews, they have since contacted yahoo and had them update the rates. Now I highly doubt the comments from the first two reviewers about the staff because they are always professional and curteous when I call to make a reservation. It's unfortunate that two people choose to bad mouth a motel without even staying there. That in itself should cast some doubt in people's minds. To that end, I will say that the rooms at the Greeley Inn are pretty good. For the price I pay, I definitely get what I pay for. The rooms I've had have always been nice and clean. I disagree with the second reviewer's comment about boycotting the Greeley Inn. I think it's irresponsible to make a comment like that about the Greeley Inn or any other motel/hotel without actually staying there. I would recommend staying at the Greeley Inn to anyone. I'm sure the overall stay will be a pleasant one.
