Terrible place to stay!
No air conditioning at all. 90 degrees outside! Open windows and then its very loud. Close the windows and its still very loud. 20 a night extra Resort Fee. 20 a night extra to park your car when checking in. Only they can park your car. Rooms are out dated and worn. Motel 6 is just as good as this property. Small rooms. Can't sleep due to heat and noise. Guys that park cars are arrogant and rude. Not a place I would ever go back to.

VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED NEVER AGAIN!!!
By Reilley, 4/8/10
This hotel is very over rated. It is suppose to be a; AAA Four Diamond Award-Winning Hotel, maybe when it first opened, but not now! We had a luxury room and nothing worked. We had to call to get everything fixed. There wasn't a restaurant open before 9 am. The room was not made up until after 2:30 in the afternoon and I had to call for the service. The Spa, the rooms themselves are in need of renovation and in the relaxation rooms, the magazines were from February 2009. I wanted to purchase some massage oil at the spa and I was told they were all sold out for the past month. This hotel is very over rated. I have stayed at a multitude of hotels throughout my life from the Ritz-Carlton to Holiday Inn, this hotel should be rated a one or maybe a two star. We had a luxury room and nothing worked. We had to call to get everything fixed i.e., the toilet, the light bulbs, the TV, the dresser drawers didn’t work you couldn’t get them to close once open, the list goes on and on. There wasn't a restaurant open for breakfast before 9 am. The coffee was in the back lobby and was always empty. The room was not made up until after 2:30 in the afternoon and I had to call for the service. The Spa is advertised as: “Take your inner bliss to new heights”, that is the most ludicrous statement on their website. The rooms are dreadful and very depressing. They need to be renovated, the prices they charge here, I know they can afford it. In the relaxation rooms, the magazines were from February 2009 we were there in April 2010. The chairs had a lot of stains; I had to put a towel down before I could sit. There in not a co-ed Jacuzzi and the wet room as they call it is so cramped you touch the person next to you. I wanted to purchase some massage oil at the spa and I was told they were all sold out for the past month. The fire alarm started going off at 5 am, three times and when I called the front desk there was no answer. The one good though it is close to the ski lift and Vail Village. I will find another place to stay the next time I visit Vail. I would look around before I stayed at this hotel if I were you.

Excellent Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/9/05
The room was very clean and comfortable. The view out the window was just breath taking. The outdoor heated pool was the most relaxing experience after a long day on the slopes. Relaxing in the pool and watch the skiiers coming down the mountains was breath taking. The motel is located right at the base of the mountain. Just slip on the skis and head up the mountain. The restaurants are close by and offer a variety of delicious entrees. I would recommend it to everyone. I will definitly be back.

Small room, but wow - what service! And the decor is unparalled. Absolutely no issues or problems after 4 wonderful nights of mountain lodge living!

very nice
By Michael, 10/5/04
My family had a great time staying at this hotel that "felt" like Vail. Amazing location, amazing service, but more importantly amazing skiing. A little pricey, but we only go skiing every couple of years so it was worth every penny. Great restaurants right outside the door too. Try Sweet Basil if you get a chance.
