The Inn @ Durango Mountain -- Customer Service Lacking
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/3/05
When we arrived to check in on Friday Feb 25, the clerk was on the telephone complaining about some guests who were blonde b***hes. She continued to talk while trying to check us in, refused to give us enough parking passes and was indifferent to other request such for pillows for the sofa sleeper ("This building is all out of pillows." She made NO offer to get more or even any polite sorry.) Upon check out on Feb 28, 2005, the clerk made us stand and wait for her while she complained about her pay check for nearly five minutes to someone at the pay office; she was totally unconcerned about us. Customer service is totally lacking! Suite C (room 100) is okay -- tears in the furniture, not enough lamps and the safety lock broken off the door. On the plus side the kitchen is fully stocked and useable, the beds are pretty confortable and the hot tub is hot! The Chop House is nice and located right next door -- great atmosphere for a romantic meal. Stau here is you need cheaper lodging next to the resort, otherwise look else where for better value.
