Sky Ute Casino and Resort, Ignacio

i've never been so disapointed with the "costumer service" was quoted upon arrival of a $60 room only to find out htey charged my card $95!! for one night. when i felt all that nights' guests should have been comped a free stay: from 3 am until about 7am they were testing the fire alarms which included a loud alarm and flashing lights in every room! glad i'm not epelptic. when confronting managment about being overcharged and the alarm anoyance they didnt even appologize let alone try to make things right. The buffet only made the stay worse...horrible food! i think the only good reviews must be written by hotel managment in order to try and save thier reputation. do yourself a favor and find any other place to go.

My husband and I LOVED our stay. I had stayed at the old casino several years ago and had no idea there was a new one so was expecting an old, dilapidated room. I was AMAZED at the decor, the luxurious touches such as separate tub and shower, granite counter top, flat screen TV and plush bedding. I wished for more time in the room. We had dinner and breakfast in the casino. Dinner was mediocre but the made to order omelette at breakfast was delicious. We were agree that the accommodations were on par with a Wyndham or Marriott. We ALWAYS will check here first for availability when travelling to the Four Corners area.

I am a local and had the worst experience in the history of ANY place I have ever been a guest of. I would gladly recommend any hostel over the Casino. They have NO clue how to compensate for mistakes, let alone admit they had made a mistake. They charged me extra for my room, sent security to my room three different times begininning at 5:00 AM, which interrupted me SLEEPING all three times.....When they realized it was a mistake they did not have the descency to apologize. This casino is dishonest and sleezy. They need a wake up call.....maybe take some ideas from Mcdonalds customer service.....Hell, their food is better! The only great thing about the casino was leaving....Screw SKY UTE CASINO

After staying in many resorts around the country, I belive that the rooms and facilities are the best around.... i Cant Belive the reviews that get posted on here....they seem like disgruntled employees that have been fired...lol, You want to see a bad resort with no customer service, visit Lake Powell..

Interesting stay. The rooms were really nice for the price. I mean that they rival any Wyndham/Marriot we've stayed at, they're new, and very clean and well kept. The food is mediocre at best and there is no restaurant that avoids the constant noise from the one armed bandits. The service was very good in all aspects but check-in was slow and tedious involving a club join-up that gives a good discount on the room and gambling points so that was good/bad. Bottom line, a good place to stay.

My boyfriend and I were expecting to take a small inexpensive mini-vacation and discovered this beautiful new casino. For a two star price, we felt like we got a five star vacation. For around $80 a night, we were checked into an awesome room. Nice staff, wonderful restaurants, great rooms!

The new building is nice but there is clearly no qualified management there. Service is slow or non-existent, many of the "amenities" were not open on a Friday night, half of the local tribe is camped out in the casino sitting at the machines but not playing. The casino is FULL of smoke with no ventilation. The new machines don't seem top pay out like in the old casino. The buffet was an absolut joke, very small and food was not stocked, even for the Utes it's a new low. It is a terrible embarrassment to the Four Corners area.

The atmosphere was inviting and casual. The slot machines were relatively loose and gave me more money for my buck. Room was clean and bed were somewhat comfortable. Got service with a smile.
