Great for extended stay business travelers

I stayed at this hotel for more than 30 nights over a three month period and was very pleased with the extended stay rates. Most of the staff was helpful but, as is often the case, had to deal with several people who expected more for less. The rooms had a full size fridge, microwave, sink with disposal, coffee maker,a two burner stovetop, dinner plates, pots, pans, coffee cup, can opener and silverware. One of three rooms had a toaster and more dishes and glasses than the other two. None of the sinks had a stopper but the styrofoam coffee cups worked well to hold water in the sink for doing dishes (bring your own dish soap). The laudry facility was awesome with 8 large washers and 4 huge dryers along with machines to buy soap and dryer sheets. The swimming pool was clean and large. The breakfast was basic with waffles (be sure to spray that waffle iron good with no-stick spray), danishes, donuts, cereal, mini bagles and muffins, toast, coffee, OJ, milk and sometimes canned fruit. It seems the hard boiled eggs are a thing of the past--last seen in April. Extended stay customers are expected to pay $2 for breakfast. Location is 14 miles from airport and 5 miles (15 minute drive) from downtown. There is a new shopping development (Northfield-Stapleton) just up the road (can walk but best to drive) which has a SuperTarget, Bass Pro Shop, movie theater, and many upscale shops and restaurants. The development is like several newer ones I've seen with small town style streets and parking meters but you can park outside the "town" free and walk to where you want to go. Another shopping area is about 0.5 mile south which has a Walmart and other chains stores and restaurants. Overall, this is a good place to stay for a business traveler looking for a great rate. Once summer vacation season started I noticed more families.
