turning moments into nightmare
By RD guy, 4/17/08
It is our first time here in Denver and like what everyone wants is to get the best deal so we search the internet, and this hotel popped out as the cheapest. We arrived here late at night..tired from our trip from Aspen; we went right away to the room..upon entering. The lamp didn't work. The bed not made up nicely especially the pillows.I know how to check all about hotel rooms coz i worked as a Housekeeping Supervisor. If I had the chance to see a room attendnat during that time, i would be glad to teach them the right way to do these things. I know I am not in a five star hotel but as a person working in this industry, I would probably say that a rating on a hotel is not a reason why you won't be able to give The best service. Upon waking up in the morning, there is no water. We called the front desk..and trust me, he is very impolite and with out telephone conversation etiquette. I work as a housekeeping coordinator too in another hotel and trust me...it is not the proper way. We told him that there is no water and he responded "So what do you want me to do.??" I didn't make this to damage their reputation, I just want them and other people to know that They difinitely needs improvement very badly no matter how much they would cost them. They should also re trained thier staff.

WHAT A DUMP!!
By Percep, 9/18/06
This place was horrible. It was located next to a train yard so train whistles were going off all hours of the night. There was not enough parking for the number of rooms. Our room had a giant sticky spot on the carpet that your shoe/foot would stick to. The shower would flow with bright orange rusty water each morning when it was turned on. The wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom. One bed was made up with dirty linens, the pillow case had women's makeup and a hair on it. The room shared a balcony with the adjoining room and it was possible for someone to walk into your room from the one next to it if you left your balcony door unlocked... no barrier of any sort. I bought it through PRICELINE and was committed to $67/night for 3 nights only to find I could have booked it myself for $55/night. What a gem!!

Wonderful Experience
By IS, 9/6/06
Spent 7 nights with in a group of invitees at a wedding. Staff were extremely friendly and curteous. Good variety of items for breakfast. One day a free contental breakfast was arranged by the staff to congratulate the newly-weds. Had the most wondeful overall experience and would ALWAYS go back.

Smoked out
By James, 5/2/06
Our non-smoking room smelled like an ash tray. When we complained and asked for another room, they said they couldn't promise that the next room wouldn't be the same. Nice, huh?! Instead, they asked us to leave for a while so that they could fumigate the room with an ozone machine! This was %85 effective. The shuttle service was excellent. Free within a 3 mile radius. $15 to downtown, etc. Breakfast was horrible. The syrup tasted like it was a decade old. Really gross. TV channel selection was poor. Friendliness/helpfulness of the staff was fair but not that good. Good eating/shopping across the freeway via shuttle/walking. EVERYTHING AT THE HOTEL LOOKS OLD AND DIRTY. The pool wasn't open on May 1st. It was warm enough to swim. There is a computer available with internet access in the business center, for those of us without a laptop. Bums walk past your window. Not much sense of security.

good for the price
By Captain Fantasy, 2/18/06
There was a computer and printer available for free use. The free breakfast was good, make your own waffles. Room was standard, I have no complaints. It was an easy drive from the airport. There is a nice mexican restaurant attached.

Avoid at all cost!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/27/05
To start off with, they did even have the correct room reserved for us even after we'd called and confirmed our reservations. Staff told me they didn't have anymore rooms for us. Three adults and a three year old had to share one bed. Offered us a fold out couch, which was the sorriest excuse for a piece of furniture and it had stains all over. Couldn't even get staff to bring us extra towels. AC in the room not working properly and it was 105 degrees outside. No soda machines were stocked. We never got to use the pool because it was broken. They wouldn't even let us lay out near the pool at all!! Manager was very rude and inconsiderate as to all of our problems and said we had to pay full price because we stayed anyways. Hello....we were a 1,000 miles from home!! What exactly was I supposed to do at the last minute!!! I've never been more disgusted with a hotel or service before.

Don't waste your money on this place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/31/05
The overall look and feel of the hotel is old and filthy. Our experience was one I hope to never repeat. We were traveling with our two young sons, ages 3 and 6, and they were playing with their toy dinosaurs when our youngest son spotted something and picked it up and put it on his head, trying to be funny. He had found a USED CONDOM on the floor, not under the bed. We quickly left the room and went to tell the person at the front desk. The man at the front desk offered no apologies and just said he would let the manager know.

Will not go back again.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/26/05
We stayed 3 nights on the 2nd floor. Every morning around 7:30am they run their laundry. It was so loud that even 4 rooms down I could hear LOUD machine noises. They claimed they have free internet service but their internet was down and broken the whole time we were there. As far as the room, it was clean but has a little bit of oder. Personally we would never go back again.
