The Marriott stole from us on our wedding day!
By mscott4115, 08/24/09
We recently had our wedding reception at the Denver West Marriott in Golden. At the end of the night, the staff offered to take our gifts to our room. Well, they never made it there. I felt extremely bad not acknowledging our gifts with a formal thank you card so I sent out a mass email to our guest explaining the situation. When I contacted the claims service, I was once again told nothing could be done and then was hung up on. If you are looking to have a joyous trip, look elsewhere.

Not Much Romance
By Veronica, 02/20/09
Stayed here on Valentine's Day for a romantic get away. Payed extra for the "Romance package." Big mistake! The first clue that this wasn't going to be romantic was the 2nd floor room and the roll-away bed that was in it. I put it in the hallway where it still was when we checked out. Second clue: champagne was supposed to be in the room. It wasn't, until 10:30 PM when room service let themselves into the room. Even though it was supposed to be part of the package, room service charged us for it. Third clue: a youth hockey tournament was somewhere close by and they played hockey in the hallways at all hours, day and night. Advice: Don't stay on the 1st (the pool is there, and the whole floor smelled like chlorine) or the 2nd floor. Don't pay extra for a package.

We would go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/30/07
The Hotel in general was very nice and well maintained. The rooms were very clean and we enjoyed our stay. The best part was the beds...they were by far the most comforatable beds I have ever slept in! As a matter of fact the only reason I am visiting the site is to get more info on the beds!!! Seriously, they were amazing :)

One hotel I wont forget!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/14/06
This hotel was excellent! I loved all of the ammentities such as: indoor & outdoor pool, indoor hottub, exercise room, ballroom, and bar. I've been to many hotels before, but I've never seen one quite so lovley, and so luxury style, but at an affordable price. The service was pretty good, although the room service could have been a little bit quicker. I loved the bar service. The bartender was friendly just like all the rest of the employees. My room was very comfortable. I thought that the bed was very soft. I loved the view that I got from my room's window. The rooms are very well decorated, and the bathrooms are a little bit bigger than normal. The location was okay. The hotel sits off a busy highway, although you can't hear the road noise. Note, don't let the highway get you to not want to stay here. Got kids? Are they tired of the pool? Take them across the road to the mall! Yes, there is a mall there across the road from the hotel. I recommend that anyone who is in the area of this hotel, and are looking for a place to stay, go by there and check it out!

Highly Enjoyable!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/10/05
We stayed at the Marriott Denver-West for my cousin's wedding along with about 200 other wedding guests. The hotel staff was wonderful and went out of their way to accomodate our group. The food in the restaurants was fantastic, the pool and hot tub were well maintained, and all the common areas were kept very clean. Our room was very nice and the bed was actually comfortable, which is unusual to find. The lobby had a big fireplace and sitting area, making the hotel very welcoming. It was a great location, central to many different attractions outside of downtown Denver. We would definetly stay there again and highly recommend it.
