Apollo Park Lodge, Vail

Apollo is in a good location, which makes it really easy to get to the lifts. Good value for the money and we would definitely go back. Friendly staff too who were helpful with our questions. Good experience overall.

Great location but the worst customer service we have ever experienced. We will never stay here again!

First off, we Love Love Vail. The trails, the restaurants, nightlife, town and have been going to the Apollo for over 10 years! Is it fancy? No! Is it stuck in the 1970's? Yes! Could there be better equipment in the kitchen? Yes. But, it was clean and it is literally a 8 min. walk to the center of town and all that Vail Village has to offer! It is a great deal and the savings allowed us to keep our boots and skis at the mountain for the full length of our stay. We were a large group and being walking distance to the chair lift and the shopping and the food was invaluable! The bar got so crowded, we used to walk back to use the bathroom! We can not afford the luxury accommodations in Vail, but we were able to ski in the most fantastic place, eat at great restaurants and have awesome happy hours at the Red Lion and walk back to our beds! If you are used to high fancy places, then this might not be for you. If you are looking for affordable accommodations 8 min. walk away from all that is great about Vail Mtn., this is the place. As for the staff, they are not there a lot of the time, but always helpful and friendly. The huge heated pool and hottub were great! We had some of our best times at Apollo.

Great place to stay - Very nice rooms within walking distance to downtown Vail and slopes. In my opinion, the best bargin for the money in Vail. Friendly staff and a great hot-tub to relax in after a long day of skiing. I will return next year.

For the cost and location, we could overlook a lot. Though dated, room was clean. Staff was helpful if needed, which was rare. (some people just have to be babysat) Compared with other places charging 3 to 4 times more a night, THE APOLLO is an exceptional value.

The service here is totally unacceptable. If you want the worst customer service on the planet, this is the place for you. I would never recommend this place.

Nice location but musty, dirty rooms. No one is ever in the office to help. Staff doesn't seem to care if guests are taken care of. Old furniture, T.V. didn't work, dishes dirty. Just terrible!
