Americas Best Value Inn Pico Rivera, Pico Rivera

OK. Let's face it. There are better places to stay, BUT. You will pay more for them and you still might have a bad experience. Let me tell you about our stay here at this Travelodge. We were in rooms 103 and 105. Both rooms were non-smoking and smelled good. The rooms were clean and everything worked. Out of the two nights that we stayed here we only had two problems. One- the wireless internet could not be accessed with the passcodes that the front desk gave us and they could not help us connect. Two- We encounters some ants in our room. It was summer and the ants were coming in from the outside. A quick spraying down of spray and the ants did not bother us the second night. The pool was clean, the ice maker worked, the vending machine worked. This place was SUPER close to some major shopping. When you arrive from the I-5 you don't notice it, but there is a SUPER-Walmart like a block away. What's best is that all the traffic uses antoher street to go and come SO the Travelodge gets NO traffic or noise from the nearby shopping. There is also a Ross, Marshalls, Lowes, and many major fast-food places. We had no idea there were so many stores when we fist arrived. Bottom line is, if you get these rooms, you will not be dissapointed. I can not speak for other rooms, but these rooms mentioned were fine. The rooms were $73 each with taxes and everything INCLUDED. I searched other places and found much higher prices. PS. We went from here to the Natural History Museum in about 25 min, to Santa Monica Beach in about 30. So the location was OK. We booked here for the price, and I would do it again.
