Motel 6 San Diego Airport/Harbor, San Diego

The only good thing, free wireless internet. Airplanes are landing literally over your head. This place can't be more than 400 feet from the runway. They stop landing after midnight except the delayed flights. It looks nothing like the picture on the internet. I got a room with broken lights. Front desk lady did not want to easily change the room. Then she got me smelly smoking room although I had specifically asked for non-smoking. Swimming Pool with dirty water and debris on the bottom makes your stay even more depressing. Homeless people everywhere. Weird individuals staying here. Some of them looked like they are hiding here. Stay here only if you absolutely have no other choice or if you need room late night and leave early in the morning. You'll know what I mean. If you stay here you will get a small room that might smell weird. My advise is DON'T STAY IN THIS PLACE.

First off, the only thing this place has going for it is the fact that it's walking distance from the airport, downtown, and Little Italy. The room wasn't all that big, which wasn't a big deal, but it didn't have a table. My girlfriend kept blowing breakers when she was trying to dry her hair. We had to call down to the office at least 6 times. They then told us to use the Motel's hairdryer. That did not solve the issue. The breakers kept blowing. Then they turned off our air conditioner while we were out, after I had put up a "Do not disturb" sign. Then the last night we were there the air conditioner started leaking and got water all over my clothes. There also wasn't any shampoo. The only thing good was I was in close proximity to the things I wanted to check out. All in all a bad stay.
