Beautiful Rooms with Some Problems
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/04/07
I have stayed here a couple of times and have booked through Hotwire so got a very good price. However, I was put into "Problem" rooms with terrible smells (cigarettes and greasy cooking if you can believe it) that the hotel could not otherwise sell. The rooms are newly decorated, more beautifully in my opinion than other hotels in the area. The building is bad though, the floors wiggle when people walk on them and there is some mold in the walls. The location is better than most in Milpitas, doesn't get as much of the swamp and sewer smells and is set away from where most of the theft and gang activity is. The free Internet is very nice. I ordered room service one night and it was very good, except that the neighbors started smoking in the middle of my meal. Most of the staff is very nice, some have attitudes, but Milpitas isn't the friendliest place on earth.

Good business hotel
By John, 06/25/07
The hotel was remodeled in '06 with new rooms and beds, and they're very nice. In June '07 the pool was closed for renovations which was a disappointment. The fitness room was adequate and the business center was excellent with 2 free desktop PCs and a laser printer. It's an older hotel, and they continue to do exterior renovations. For the right price, I would stay there again.

Bad Service
By steven, 11/19/06
My stay at the Beverly Heritage was on Nov. 11 & 12. I had made reservations the night before, and when I showed up, the lady at the counter told me that there were no rooms under my name. I had a reservation number, but was told the number shouldn't start like that. She told me if I wanted, I can book another room, and try to get my money back from my bank. I was then told if I can show proof that I made reservations the night before, then I could get a room. I then had to get on my laptop in the parking garage, and show the reservations I made the night before online. During all of this, the manager just stood by and watched. 40 minutes later after I showed them proof, I was able to get a room. Another problem was that room service opened my room door 2 times in the morning. I don't know why, but it was very uncomfortable and disruptive. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

Trying to keep my $$$$$
By David, 09/27/06
Well my wife and I stayed at this hotel on Aug18-20 of 2006 and stayed in the premium room. Didnt look like a premium room but thats not my gripe. They require a 30$ incidental hold be put on your credit card but the retards in accounting dont know how to release the hold. Its not about the money but its the principal, Its my money and they wont or cant figure out how to release the hold on my credit card. Then a lady named Rosie in accounting is trying to blame me telling me im not reading my statement correctly, then its my banks problem when it isnt even a bank card. Its a secured visa card. Every time I go to a gas station and use it they put a 50$ hold on the card for gas and release what I didnt spend within a few days. Now I have to walk Rosie in account through the process of sending her hotels letterhead to my credit card company stating there were no incidental charges and to release the hold. This hotel is definitely not worth the troubles I have been through with these people who arent fit to work in an accounting department let alone with money.

Noisy and Access card issue!
By _a_m_b_l_e_s_, 08/28/06
I have two major issues with Beverly Heritage: (1) Noise -- every door is designed to slam close very hard and loud. If you are not a owl or a earlyriser, think twice! (2) The access card is extremely sensitive to magnetics. In my 7 days stay, my access failed twice. I bothered me becuase my room is very far from the receptionist desk.

noisy
By Matt R, 08/07/06
My recent stay included listening to tourists arriving at 10 pm, not controlling there kids, and slamming doors. Then at 4:30am in the morning having the same noisy people leaving. Two nights in a row. Upon arrival I asked to be put in a room that has a better chance of being quiet. They gave me a room next to the elevator. I have noticed that this hotel values crowds money over quality of stay. Mattreses were completely worn out. The worst Hotel in Milpitas.

The Original Hotel in the Area and it Shows
By Joe, 02/06/06
You are paying for the location. It is an old hotel that charges rates as high as the newer hotels further North on McCarthy. If you are not going right next door the next morning, then go to the newer hotels up the road a mile.

Excellent Value!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/23/04
My husband and I chose Beverly Heritage for it's convenient location to our destination. The price was right and we thought we would give it a try. I was impressed with the level of service that was provided. The staff was extremely friendly, accomodating, and professional. The complimentary high speed internet was also a big plus. Thank you!
