Would never go back

Three rooms in 24 hours - first room was not overlooking the pool as requested - in fact, there was a board over the window so it was overlooking nothing - second room was dirty - sheets on one bed were obviously not changed, third room was OK but certainly not worth the price. Said "no smoking room" on the door but there were cigarette butts all over the balcony and smelled of smoke. Very very unorganized front desk. Way too much valuable time was spent dealing with the front desk on what was suppose to be a fun birthday getaway. Very frustrating. The only thing we like about this place was the location - however, there is a Hilton right across the street - will try it next time.

Would never go back again

Outdated! I wouldn't give $50.00 for all the furniture in the room. It was dirty, walls needed to be washed, carpet dirty, and over all like a motel 6. Bathroom was ok, but again very, very outdated. The only nice thing was thick nice towels, washcloths were stained. I wonder for those of you who stayed there, and liked it, what kind of motels do you stay at. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL. I JUST WANTED TO GO HOME! UGGGGG

No more Poker Room

I was there over the weekend only to find that the Poker Room was closed. They told me that the room at their other casino had been enlarged and had more tables. But the Agua Caliente was 20 miles away. I like to play poker while my wife is at the slots. If I am going 20 miles, I might as well go to the Morongo.

Fraud

I was taken buy the same scam as the person below. We purchased a package through my wife's work for a room. Promotion says "Valid Anytime, subject to availabilty" It did say no Saturday check in. So my wife and I figured we would do a Friday check in. Problem is "subject to availability" means subject to the few rooms that are available under the promotion. I am sure your next thought is then book way ahead. Well they have that covered to because the say you "may book up to 60 days in advance", which I am sure most people think means must be made 60 days in advance when they see it. Whoever put togther the promotion and whomever approved it from the hotel was obviously very careful in the way they worded it as to mislead the consumer. This is very deceptive advertising. Bottom line is you can't do good business with bad people so I woud stay away this hotel. Hopefully if there are enough complaints we can get the authorities to look into this.

Beware

Valet scratched our car and broke the rear light assembly OFF, the light was found right next to where they parked the car. The valet and the supervisor tells us this happens all the time when you drive on the freeway along with some other more outragous excuses...a week later they are still coming up with crazy excuses, when the whole scenario is simple. Bottom line the staff are rude and dishonest...neither they do very well. As far as the hotel goes it is like a bad scene out of a made for TV movie including the cloud of cigarette smoke.

Dont waste your money

I bought an advance purchase promotional package through the hotel for 100 dollars and when I tried to make a reservation I was told they were booked up...I asked the rep if there weren't any rooms or just none available to me because I had a promotion;, she said that they had no rooms available for promotion. So basically they stole 100 dollars from me. This "Community Appreciation Program" promotion was meant to bring in word of mouth well hear the words coming from mine...this hotel is a rip off and does shady business. Way to stick it to the community Hotel Spa & Casino! Jerks.

Best Casino

Been there many times. very soothing and relaxing. The hotel is well maintained all over,but it also very old, it's need to be remodel or upgrade. it hasn't been change since 10 years ago.The Casino is Bellagio miniatured.It's best casino in California, has Excellent Buffet. Yam Yam.

SPA IS AN EXECPTIONAL VALUE

I stay at my timeshare when I come to Palm Springs, but I ALWAYS visit the spa at least once each time (weekdays are best if you are able to stay during the week). I travel a lot, and find that the range of amenities (steam, two types of sauna, mineral bath, recovery room, and unlimited access to the gym and outdoor pool to be a bargain for a low all-inclusive price. I also find the facials to be the best I have had in Palm Springs, and the service is attentive. I became overheated by too much time sauna, and the staff stayed with me until my heartrate returned to normal. It is not the Golden Door, but neither is the cost. Enjoy!

WE HAVE BEEN GOING THERE SINCE IT WAS AT THE OLD CASINO. LOVED IT THEN LOVE IT NOW. THEY HAVE A GREAT STAFF AND CASINO HOST. HIS NAME IS DAVID.WE HAVE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED THERE.THE ROOMS ARE NICE AND THE POOL IS NICE.

The perfect spa wek-end

I thought the service was excellent and very personal. Even though the spa was very busy (a week-end), once we were in our treatments it was very quite and personable. It was a great experience and I and my friends are making reservations for another experience in the next 2months. I am even taking friends who have never been there befroe. I can't rave about it enough. The location was great also, as we didn't have to drive to shop or eat. Walking around downtown Palm Springs was fun and easy.
