A bit disappointed

When we reserved our room, the confirmation said breakfast was included but when we arrived the hotel had undergone a name change and there was a charge for breakfast. When we talked to a representative at the front desk, all they had to say was 'we charge now for breakfast'...no adjustment to our room rate was possible. Our room was one of the 'newly renovated' but was still being worked on when we arrived. There were trim strips left out on the table.
The morning we left the elevator was not working...we were on the 3rd floor and nobody was available to help us with luggage - so we carried our own.
The staff really needs work on customer service.
