Screwed us Over
By ,
We are staying here for the california international marathon on Sunday and really regret picking them as a hotel. If you want your race day to go smoothly don't pick them. We called months ago when we made the reservation and asked if transportation was provided to the race start or should we purchase the shuttle tickets provided by the race organizers. The staff told us there was no need to buy the tickets not once but TWICE when we called again a week before the marathon making sure we covered our bases because we have been training for a year for this and don't want to miss the frickin race. Now online ticket sales for the shuttle are closed and you can only buy them at the Expo which we now have to hope for good weather and pray we make it in time to buy the now overpriced tickets. Seriously guys, way to make my marathon experience more stressful. Oh yeah, Robert, the guy we were supposed to talk to if we had any issues is out of the office until after the race!!!! We were able to reach Brianna the manager and she said it isn't their fault their employees told us TWICE incorrect information. This hotel is terrible and I hope enough people complain that CIM removes them from their list of recommended hotels.

No thanks, never again
By ,
We booked a ten day stay over the Christmas Holidays and after 2 days we had enough and cancelled my reservations. We stayed somewhere else. The room was clean and nice however...the room was charged at 9.95 per day, outrageous! even a motel 6 offers free high speed internet. The final straw was on Christmas morning when I asked the resturant to heat a breakfast I had bought the night before I was told that Hilton policy was to only heat in-house food. I had to go to a local gas station to use the microwave. Hilton hotels have certainly deteriorated. Never again.

This hotel is great at hosting big events. The workers at the hotel are very kind and willing to help. I would go back to this hotel again and i am for sure next year for my next convention.

I will be back!
By ,
The hotel is under renovation, but the staff let me know during my reservation that was the case. The front desk (manager?)Brianne was a delight! We had a retirement party and the Maitre D' (ken) was on the ball. Both he and the Manager of the banquet made sure all went well. The food and presentation were well received and everybody was happy. The beds were comfortable, and most of the facility was clean--however the carpeting in the banquet hall needs to be replaced.

Great Experience
By ,
From the time I hit the door, the bellhop MOntie was accommodating. We had a large banquet and the manager and his captain were delightful to work with. The staff was on top of things and thought ahead. The rooms were nice, but the elevators need some TLC. I will definitely be back.

I can't wait to stay here again!

I liked that it was close to the Arden Fair Mall. The buffet downstairs was awesome. It had great service. The pool was a great place to hang out.

Desperate to fill rooms
By ,
I left wondering "What has become of Hilton?" A big hotel, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised at the teenagers renting multiple rooms. Management was feckless. They actually told a guest to investigate a noise complaint/party themselves. Maybe they were dealing with other complaints that night. Be forwarned, they seem desperate to fill rooms.

Nice in the 80s . . .
By ,
. . . But the room is way too small and uncomfortable for the 21st century, and with no upgrades. Plumbing needs to be repaired, especially. I stayed for four days, the plumber came twice to work on the tub, with no improvement. On the other hand, he did leave muddy footprints on the bathroom floor. Get there early if you want to park -- anything between 5p and 9p, and you are out of luck. I was told by the kid behind the desk (no manager on duty, of course!) that the office lot next door was available, but my car might be towed. I won't stay here again, and this has left me running back to Marriott.

The Best Service in Town
By ,
From the moment I walked through the door of the Hilton Arden West I was greeted with smiles and warmth. The staff was 100% from top to bottom. The bar has great new 'happy hour' deals - great value. Even the hotel is a bit older than others in town the new renovations have made up for it. The beds are wonderful, the rooms are clean. The front desk staff was so helpful. Thank you all! I plan to book with again.
